It doesn’t matter though. Action speaks louder than words, anyway. It didn’t take long until the panda felt what he meant.
The mutated giant panda felt its wounds and bruises healing at fast speed.
In its head, it told itself, "Those five God foxes are correct! If I don’t fight, then this strong human who’s actually a god will bless me!"
The mutated giant panda thought that maybe— just maybe— luck was finally on its side.
Shen Yuan didn’t know that thanks to the theatrical performance staged by his sly foxfire beasts, a helpful misunderstanding sprouted in the panda’s mind.

"Good night, Yanyan," Shen Yuan and Bai Tingfeng kissed their son on the forehead before they left the bedroom.
Yanyan’s room is the usual bedroom that is commonly seen on TV. Full of stuffed toys and posters from his favorite cartoon. However, at this moment, two giant beasts are lying on the spaces on both sides of the bed.
"Good night, Papa. Good night, Daddy," Yanyan greeted back.
Shen Yuan thought that with the furry animals around him, the child would be too excited to sleep. Thankfully, the battery of the energetic child ran out of juice the moment he lay on the bed.
The couple each gave the beasts a look before they retreated from their son’s room.
"What kind of magic did you use on the panda? He seemed to be more tamed now," Bai Tingfeng immediately asked once he closed the door.
Shen Yuan shrugged his shoulders, "Just your typical carrot-and-stick method."
’Featuring cheeky foxfire beasts,’ he silently added at the back of his head.
"Oh, I see," Bai Tingfeng responded, sounding like he was pulling his breath from somewhere.
The celestial fox spirit looked at the man and didn’t drop any follow-up comments. He’s just looking at the man’s eyes, silently waiting and unwittingly building the tension between them.
"This will be our first, right?" Bai Tingfeng asked in a deep and husky voice.
"Yeah..." Tonight marks their first time sleeping in their bed with just the two of them.
