Yu Ziqing hid beneath the Nu River, sensing that there seemed to be some white sky Devils tracking him. He continued to dive deeper, traveling along the course of the Nu River.
Before long, he sensed an aura of a Great Demon within the Nu River, and he kept his distance.
But soon after, he saw the murky yellow river water dissipate, revealing a vast open space in the water.
A demon, with its upper body of a human and its lower half resembling a giant demon belly like a mountain, lay soundly asleep against the riverbank.
From its belly, semi-transparent Devil Eggs continuously emerged, sinking into the river water, automatically adhering to the rock wall to await hatching.
Suddenly, the Great Demon seemed to sense something and slowly opened its eyes.
Upon seeing Yu Ziqing, it immediately grinned, opened its large hand, and casually tossed out a Bear Demon, emaciated and unrecognizable, yet still breathing.
The Bear Demon wore a faint smile of relief upon seeing Yu Ziqing, and before it fell into the river, it drew its last breath.
In an instant, Yu Ziqing's face turned ashen, and every hair on his body stood on end.
No wonder those Black Sky Devils were never afraid of losses, idly killing their own for amusement. The Black Sky Devil Mother's fertility was terrifying, ceaselessly birthing new Black Sky Devils.
And this creature appeared to have no dietary restrictions, nor did it reproduce asexually.
Without any hesitation, Yu Ziqing took out a Golden Egg, held it up in both hands, posing as if offering tribute.
The Black Sky Devil Mother paused, but before it could think further, Yu Ziqing grinned and lifted his hands again, using a strand of power to send the Golden Egg to the Black Sky Devil Mother.
The Black Sky Devil Mother sniffed the Golden Egg, seemingly detecting something.
But in the next moment, Yu Ziqing threw another Golden Egg beneath the Black Sky Devil Mother, shattering it on the spot with his immense strength.
Above the Nu River, the Golden Wind tore through the water, rushing forth.
Yu Ziqing quietly retreated, slipping back into the river, concealing all his power, drifting with the current, and taking out one last Golden Egg.
His Black Sky Devil God Qi enveloped him, secretly using his Qi Blood Power to forcibly refine the Golden Egg. Extracting a strand of pure power, he then tossed it into the river.
Above the Nu River, battles raged on. The white sky Devils that had rushed in reached the Black Sky Devil Mother, and neither party bothered with words. They directly fought instead, as explanations were nonexistent here; the one with the bigger fists survived, and reasoned.
The river water boiled, and Yu Ziqing made every effort to dive deeper, following the river's current.
A day later, when he no longer felt the remnants of intense combat in the river, Yu Ziqing slowly surfaced.
Upon reaching the surface, he took a look and immediately continued hiding.
On land, the Black Sky Devil Mother's massive belly was nowhere in sight, having transformed into a giant resembling a mountain. It fought with another giant, cloaked in swirling Golden Qi.
The battle moved from the sky to the underground, and back to the surface, clearly fueled by genuine rage.
Passing the blame had succeeded, so let them fight. Whichever one died, Yu Ziqing would be cheering.
Yu Ziqing silently dove to deeper depths.
After diving at least a thousand yards, he suddenly sensed a shift in buoyancy.
He paused, immediately began searching, and finally discovered a crack at the riverbed upon reaching the bottom.
The water there was deep blue, distinctly separate from the murky yellow river water.
Crossing the boundary, Yu Ziqing immediately felt a terrifying pressure, and even his Fifth Tier body in Devilic state struggled to withstand it.
It was a fissure akin to an Abyssal Rift.
Yu Ziqing raised his head, quietly sensed the vicinity, and upon detecting the two Great Demons entering the river again, he no longer hesitated, crossing the boundary into the other side.
Bearing the immense pressure, the moment he swam through the fissure to the other side, Yu Ziqing began channeling the power of the Golden Water Yin Escape, substantially alleviating the massive pressure. Utilizing Gui Water Qi, he integrated himself within it.
The surrounding pressure diminished by more than ninety percent instantly.
In the darkness, Yu Ziqing saw everything around him, yet sensed nothing, enveloped in silence.
He surfaced, floating upward for one incense stick's time, finally breaking the water's surface.
Looking around, there was nothing, only the dense scent of the sea filling his nostrils.
He licked the water, tasting the salty bitterness.
Yu Ziqing paused in surprise.
Was this a Saltwater Lake, or the ocean?
Breaking the surface, he soared into the sky, surveying the horizon endlessly, yet saw no trace of land.
This is bad, he had reached the ocean.
He understood that there was no inland Saltwater Lake so large that he couldn't see the shore from this height.
The scene of the boiling sea below, the crashing waves, somewhat reminiscent of the Nu River, made him think he might have gotten lost...
"Lou Huai, do you know where this is?"
From Yu Ziqing's boot emerged a wisp of black mist, forming into the shape of Lou Huai.
Lou Huai looked around, equally bewildered.
"Brother, I don't know where this is either..."
Lin Fu definitely hadn't been here; if he had, he would recognize it.
Yu Ziqing thought for a moment, immersed himself again in the sea, exploring for three or four two-hours, and upon surfacing once more, his expression turned somewhat complicated.
Here, he sensed no Demons, Sea Clan, Sea Beasts, or even large fish.

Silently, he took out his Seventh Floor ring, sighing inwardly, thinking that his previous reckless actions might have messed things up. Yang hadn't sought him for assistance, yet now he had to seek Yang in the East Sea for help.
