Clarissa walked down the stairs to the living room where Damien and Davis were seated, waiting for news from her.
"So what?" Damien was the first to ask.
"Did she agree to give up on the thoughts?" Davis asked and slowly, Clarissa shook her head.
"Hazel has made up her mind already"
"How can that even be?!" Damien ranted and got up from the sofa he was seated on.
"Gosh! Axel is going to come back to life and he is going to kill me for letting her kill herself" Davis sighed heavily.
"I will go see her and talk to her again. She has to change her mind" Damien groaned and began to walk up the stairs, not glancing at Clarissa twice.
Clarissa pressed her lips into a thin line as she watched the man who was supposed to love and protect her love and protect another woman.

"This is all your fault" Damien stood in front of the wolf doctor.
"Good day, Alpha Damien, do you have any issues with me?" The wolf doctor asked.
The both of them were in the living room while Hazel was still in her room.
"How could you go to her and tell her such a stupid thing?!" He groaned.
"She wanted to know if there was a way. And since there is a way, it would be cruel of me not to let her know. Alpha Damien, I did not force her to do this. I only told her of the way and she chose to go through with it"
"She would not choose that way if you had not told her about it!"
"I did what I had to do" the wolf doctor replied.
The string of patience in Damien cut off and in his anger, he wrapped his hands around the neck of the wolf doctor.
"You do not just go around telling people to give you their life for a dead person!!" Damien groaned but the old wolf doctor remained cool, too cool for someone who was being choked.
The wolf doctor calmly raised up his hands and his lips moved as he mumbled some words with his eyes closed and almost as soon as he opened his eyes, Damien was pushed backwards by an unseen force.
The old wolf doctor dropped back to his feet.
Damien's brows were arched as he wondered what had just happened.
"You... You are not just a wolf, right?" He asked but the wolf doctor gave no response.
"You are an hybrid. You are also a witch, right?" Damien requested to know as that could be the only explanation to what just happened.
But the wolf doctor still said nothing but bowed in respect to Damien and began to walk away.
Damien watched the retreating figure of the man and he bit hard on his lips. That was why the wolf doctor knew about a way of waking up the dead. It was because he was not just a wolf but also a wizard.
"That monster" Damien muttered and walked a few steps away.
Changing Hazel's mind was not working but he was going to make sure, in one way or the other that she did not pull through with her plans.
There was just four days left to the full moon. He had to find a way to ruin her plans before then.
"Well...." His lips curled up in a satisfied smile.
"I could just steal away the moon stone. It belonged to me originally, anyways"

Hazel was writing a letter tearfully, a letter to Axel but she would not be giving it to him anyways, not after she had planned to make Axel believe that Clarissa was his woman.
Her own letter would only confuse him but it soothed her heart to write a letter so that was what she was doing.
"Hazel" the wolf doctor called, knocking on the door.
Hazel quickly sat up on the chair and pulled the jotter into the drawers. She wiped her teary face and forced a smile out before hurrying to the door and pulling it open.
"Welcome" she smiled at the wolf doctor and paved way for him to walk into her room.
The wolf doctor walked in and Hazel shut the door behind them.
"How is it going? You still have not changed your mind? You want to die for him to come back to life?"
"I would never change my mind so you really do not have to ask me that question. I am going to do it"
The wolf doctor nodded his head with a faint smile on his face.
"The both of you are something else" he mumbled underneath his breath.
"But I am worried about something, about Axel. If he wakes up and finds out that I died for him, I do not know how far he could take the news..."
"He is going to take it very far" he cut her off.
She pressed her lips into a thin line and buried her hands in her pockets.
"That is why I have decided that it would be great if we wipe away his memories and make him believe that Clarissa is the woman he is in love with so that he can lead a happy, new life...."
"After all of this, you do not want him to remember you? You are going to let another woman take your place in his life?" The wolf doctor was taken aback.
"That... It's better if he does not remember me. At least that would be an assurance that he would not do anything silly or wallow in sadness. I just want him to be back and happy."
"Love can never be forced. The one Axel loves is you and soon enough, he would find out that he has no such feelings for Clarissa."
"But at least he would not be saddened to the extreme. It would be better" she seemed sure of it.
"Fine... If that is what you want. Then I will do it for you. I will wipe Axel's memories once he is subconscious. "
