After Jiangli finished speaking, she picked up the three lit incense sticks and bowed in offering. This time, the incense did not break.

Xia Xin ran to open the door of Jiaoyang Temple as if his feet were greased.
He saw the internet cafe owner, Wang Xinjun, standing outside.
But just as Jiangli had said, it was not just Wang Xinjun at the door, but also a young couple, probably in their twenties or thirties. Both of them looked haggard, not in a good state.
The wife’s eyes were red-rimmed as if she had just finished crying.
The husband’s expression was somewhat tense as if on guard against something.
“Boss…” Xia Xin glanced at them, then turned back to Wang Xinjun, “What brings you here?”
Wang Xinjun said obsequiously, “Didn’t the master tell me to ask around to see if any children from the neighborhood had accidents or went missing? I actually found some! So I hurried over to bring them to the master for a look!”
