Lin Yaozu gradually understood the meaning of Lin Yurong’s words.
To their parents, those three characters "Lin Yaozu" merely represented a symbol for continuing the family line.
It didn’t matter whether it was him or not.
"You and I are alike, both of us have been manipulated by them," Lin Yurong said as she looked at Lin Yaozu. "Now I’ve broken free from them, and you have too. I hope you’ll be well in the future."

She sighed and, with a slight bow to Jiangli, asked, "Abbot, can we leave now?"
Jiangli noticed that Lin Yurong had truly let go of all her attachments.
She was unfortunate, but Lin Yaozu, with such parents, was also unfortunate.
She was too tired to blame anyone anymore.
Jiangli didn’t say much else. After bidding farewell to Xun Tianhai with a brief word, he didn’t even glance at Lin Yaozu before leading Lin Yurong away.
Fu Shiyan and Xia Xin nodded slightly to Xun Tianhai as a greeting, then followed along.
Lin Yaozu took a step forward instinctively.
Xun Tianhai stopped him and said in a low voice, "Don’t add to your sister’s burdens. What matters most for her right now is to let go of all attachments to be reincarnated. If you still care about her as your sister, then do nothing right now."
Lin Yaozu bit down hard on his teeth, his eyes red and swollen, watching as Lin Yurong followed Jiangli without turning back to leave.

They saw a group of police officers escorting two people inside.

It was a middle-aged couple, flanked by police officers on either side, still struggling violently and shouting with red faces.

The group stood there, watching the police lead them past.
Lin Yurong stood calmly in place, her gaze toward them was like looking at strangers.
She had thought that she would lose her mind upon seeing her parents, but in fact, she felt calmer than she had ever imagined.

"Abbot, let’s go back," she said calmly, without a ripple of emotion.
Jiangli nodded, "Let’s go."
The group took their steps, brushing past Lin’s parents.
