Jiangli probed Boss Cao’s pulse.
Boss Cao held his breath, anxiously waiting as he watched her.
After a moment, Jiangli released her hand.

“Congenital weakness,” Jiangli said flatly, “You can’t produce children; those children are indeed not yours.”

Jiangli nodded, “That could work.”

“You can check at the hospital here. I think any decent doctor should be able to detect your condition,” Jiangli advised.
Xia Xin quickly said, “We don’t really rely on doctors here. We have machines that can test it accurately. The results can’t be wrong.”
Jiangli uttered, “What is a machine?”

Jianlgi didn’t pursue the question further.
Xia Xin looked towards Boss Cao and suggested awkwardly, “Maybe you should see a doctor?”

“Just because you say it’s impossible, doesn’t mean it’s impossible,” Jiangli spoke with a detached tone, leaving no room for argument, “If you don’t believe it, you can confront your wife.”
Boss Cao covered his head, on the verge of breaking down, “But, but why…”
“Do you have your wife’s birthdate and time?” Jiangli suddenly asked upon hearing his words.
Boss Cao was startled, “I, I only know her birthday. I don’t know the exact time…
“That’s enough,” Jiangli said, “Supplement it with your own life chart, and you can see clearly. Tell me.”
Boss Cao unconsciously told Jiangli his wife’s birthday.
Jiangli lifted a finger, calculated for a moment, and announced, “Your wife has indeed been adulterous, and those children are not yours—do you know someone named Bi Yamin?”

He struggled to get out of bed.
Xia Xin hurriedly pushed a wheelchair over, helped Boss Cao to sit in it, and looked nervously at Jiangli, asking, “Ancestor, can Boss Cao move around now?”
