Cao Jiadong swiftly turned his head and glared at Wang Lijuan with a fiery look in his eyes, “You filthy woman, you actually cuckolded me and made me raise your and another man’s children, Wang Lijuan, how could you be so shameless?! How could there be a woman like you in this world?!”
“What do you mean?” Wang Lijuan clenched her hands, her face pale, as she steadied her spirit and feigned angry confusion, “Cao Jianren, if you don’t want to come back, if you only want to stay by that woman’s side, you don’t have to come back. There’s no need to throw dirt on me!”
“Yeah, dad, could there be some misunderstanding?” Upon hearing his mother’s words, Cao Jiadong hurriedly added, “There must be some misunderstanding…”

Xia Xin subconsciously looked towards Jiangli at his side.
Jiangli’s gaze, however, was entirely fixed on the house above, surveying around as if none of this had anything to do with her.
