Manager Tong stood in front of the quadrangle residence, her eyes sparkling with interest as she surveyed the mansion nestled discreetly behind Houhai.
Chen Cheng nodded and said to Chen Donghai beside him: "Xiao Hai, find a couple of people to show them around."
Chen Donghai sprang into action, leading the people brought by Manager Tong into the courtyard.
Meanwhile, Manager Tong followed Chen Cheng’s steps, talking as they walked: "My cousin is helping with the mortgage contract over there, once she’s done, we can go get Mr. Jin’s signature."
"Sure." Chen Cheng led the way and entered the tea room with Manager Tong.
As soon as she sat down, Manager Tong exclaimed: "I really didn’t expect..."

Manager Tong’s eyes widened in surprise, "This... this is really unexpected!"
Her tone revealed envy, "Miss Xiao is truly fortunate!"
"Aren’t you as well?" Chen Cheng retorted, "A 20-billion loan in one go, doesn’t that meet your KPI?"
Upon hearing this, Manager Tong’s face lit up with a brilliant smile.

Chen Cheng simply smiled and took a sip of tea.

Manager Tong pouted charmingly, "I just want to be close to you!"
She wrapped her arms around Chen Cheng’s neck, "Brother Cheng, how are you so capable?"
"If your colleagues were to see you , what would you do?"
Chen Cheng teased, "Where’s even a hint of Manager Tong in you?"
Far from loosening her grip, Manager Tong held on even tighter, "This is your mansion, who would dare to just march in here!"
Chen Cheng pinched Manager Tong’s chin, "What you say is always pleasant to my ear."
Manager Tong’s eyes instantly brightened, her smile brimming with smug satisfaction.
"Then I will speak to you every day, okay?"
"Sure, as long as you don’t tire of it, I’m naturally happy to listen."
Manager Tong swung her legs joyfully, "Brother Cheng, do you know? Ever since I’ve been with you, it’s like I’ve been enchanted, thinking about you every day!"
Chen Cheng: "Thinking about what part of me?"
"Every part." Manager Tong buried her head into Chen Cheng’s embrace, feeling his strong heartbeat, "like my very soul has been hooked away."
"Then, did you prepare well today?"
Manager Tong looked up, "Oh! I’ve totally forgotten about it."
Chen Cheng teased her by flicking her nose lightly, "Just kidding with you."
"Brother Cheng, you’re terrible!"
Pretending to be annoyed, Manager Tong playfully slapped Chen Cheng’s arm, but the laughter in her eyes couldn’t be concealed.
Chen Cheng’s phone rang; it was Xia Yubing calling.
Xia Yubing: "The contract is ready, I am now..."
Chen Cheng pinched Manager Tong’s cheek, "You wait at the little western-style house. We’ll be over in a bit."
"It takes time for me to get there, doesn’t it? What’s on your mind every day?" Chen Cheng asked with a smile.
Xia Yubing, of course, knew Manager Tong all too well. Without guesswork, she could tell that Manager Tong was already being affectionate with Chen Cheng.
But after the previous tripartite meeting, she wasn’t at all jealous.

After hanging up, Chen Cheng gave Manager Tong a pat on the butt, "Let’s go, we should take care of business first."
Manager Tong slid off of Chen Cheng, adjusted her slightly disheveled hair, and regained her professional woman’s competence and elegance.
"Brother Cheng, I’ll go let them know."
Chen Cheng nodded, "Wait for you at the entrance of the alley."

Jin Baogen was wearing glasses, signing his name on each page.
Xia Yubing had placed post-it notes on every spot that required a signature, while Manager Tong helped turn the pages, ensuring that the entire process was both efficient and error-free.
"You two following Mr. Chen, everything okay?" Jin Baogen asked as he wrote.
Xia Tong exchanged a glance, and Xia Yubing replied first, "Mr. Jin, following Mr. Chen, we feel more confident in what we do."
Manager Tong also nodded quickly, "Yes, Brother Cheng takes good care of us, it’s great."
Jin Baogen smiled, and by then the contract was signed. He set down the pen, stretching his wrist, "I’ve never signed my name this many times in my life."
Chen Cheng handed over a cup of tea, and Jin Baogen responded with a nod and a smile.
He then asked, "Xiao Tong, when can the funds be released?"
Manager Tong gathered the contracts, "At the latest, three days. If it’s quick, by tomorrow noon."
Both of them stood by Chen Cheng’s side as Jin Baogen continued, "After this money arrives, transfer it to Mr. Chen’s account."
Upon hearing that, Chen Cheng’s eyebrows lifted.
There was no word from Hoshino Mika yet, but with Jin Baogen transferring these 20 billion to him, the gap in between would allow his pool of funds to soar once again.
