Chen Cheng nodded and pulled out a pack of tissues from his pocket,
"Wipe your tears and don’t let them blur your vision. Remember, no matter what the future holds, keep smiling, because that’s the best response to life."
Mei Xiang trembled as she took the pack of tissues Chen Cheng bought at Daxing Airport, touched by the words on it.
"I’ll take my leave today," Chen Cheng said with a smile. "I’ll be in Tokyo for the next few days, staying at the Edison. If you have anything to say to me, or need any help, you can come find me."
Mei Xiang clutched the tissues and nodded heavily.
After leaving Mei Xiang’s home, Chen Cheng returned to the car.
Tong Jialu and Xia Yubing immediately asked him what happened, and Chen Cheng briefly shared before leaning back in his seat, lost in thought.
"Let’s go to the hotel to drop off our stuff first!" Chen Cheng told Chen Donghai. "Later, we can go out for a stroll."
The group headed towards the Edison Hotel.

Then outside the window of the Edison in Tokyo, it’s the landmark Tokyo Tower.
When the elevator on the 31st floor opened, Shiro Soma’s couch appeared in front of Chen Cheng.
A series of photographs by Watanabe Keiji on the wall drew him towards the hotel’s lobby.
Xia Yubing and Tong Jialu each dragged their luggage, while naturally, Chen Cheng’s was in Chen Donghai’s hands.
"Brother Cheng, passport, I’ll go check in," Tong Jialu reached out.
Chen Donghai immediately handed it over with both hands, and she accepted it the same way and headed to the front desk.
Chen Cheng found a seat and looked down at Tokyo beneath him, but couldn’t erase the image of Mei Xiang’s tearful expression.
Xia Yubing came over, "Feeling upset?"
This was the first time she had taken the initiative to care about Chen Cheng.
It seemed that in this land where no one knew her, the usually aloof Bing Bing was beginning to let down her guard.

"It’s rare for us to come out , let’s not drive tonight, let’s all have a drink," Chen Cheng replied.
"Thank you, Mr. Chen."
Chen Donghai turned and swiped the room door open, walking in.
On the quiet corridor, it was just the three of them now.
Tong Jialu couldn’t wait to say, "Brother Cheng, the room I chose has a fantastic view!"
"Really? Let’s take a good look then."
"I promise you’ll be satisfied!"
The three quickened their pace to the very last room at the end.
Tong Jialu opened the door, revealing the simple and serene decor.
The white tones paired with the warm yellow of the oak provided a serene retreat in the bustling city center.
Of course, the room wasn’t large, one could say since Chen Cheng stayed with Liu Zhiya reminiscing about their youthful days, it’s the smallest room he had been in for a while.
The room had a double bed and there was a chaise lounge by the floor-to-ceiling window.
Other than that, there was a bathroom and a small bar hidden at the foyer.
"How is it? Not bad right?!" Tong Jialu couldn’t wait and pulled open the curtains, showing Chen Cheng the best view first.
Chen Cheng looked at the Tokyo Tower outside the window, "Not bad. Just a bit small."
Tong Jialu hurried back, her hands hanging on Chen Cheng’s neck, pressing her body close, "A smaller room brings hearts closer."
The always enthusiastic Tong Jialu never hid her honest feelings in front of Chen Cheng, while Xia Yubing on the side cleared her throat, "Ahem."
Chen Cheng glanced sideways and also embraced her.

Tong Jialu stuck out her tongue, making a face and laughing, "Oh come on, sis, don’t be so petty, it was just a joke."
