As it was close to closing time, there were many people waiting for the elevator outside the restaurant, and it took a while before they could squeeze in.
The four stood at the innermost part of the elevator, Xiao Meier on the left, Wen Shulin on the right.
Wen Shulin’s hand stealthily grasped Chen Cheng’s palm, her tender thumb caressing the back of his hand.
Chen Cheng’s fingers curled slightly, feeling the warmth of Wen Shulin’s palm, his heartbeat involuntarily sped up a bit.
He turned his head to look at Wen Shulin, only to see her staring straight ahead with a faint smile on her lips, as if nothing had happened.
But Chen Cheng knew, it was just her disguise.

As the elevator doors opened, the four of them walked out and headed to the parking lot.
While Chen Cheng went to get the car, Wen Shulin waited with Xiao Meier and Su Liya.
He thought to himself as he walked: "Ah, these two really wear one out!"
