Chen Cheng shook his head, “I didn’t know him either.”
“According to our understanding, his intended target was not specific,” the older officer continued.
Wen Shulin frowned, “Do you mean he randomly chose someone? And then he targeted me?”
The older officer nodded, “The attacker’s name is Li Qiang, 32, unemployed, lives alone, and neighbors reported that he often talks to himself and has significant mood swings recently.”
“He confessed himself, at the time of the incident the night before, he saw that you were a woman,” he continued, “and assumed it would be easier to succeed.”
