Chapter 3: Quadruple Joy
“Where is this place?”
Hearing what Chen Fan said, Medusa relaxed a little.
It was true—if this young human had meant her harm, he’d have done it long ago.
It was this human who had saved her.
However, due to her deep-seated dislike for humans, she found it hard to feel grateful.
Still, she didn’t want to owe a human a favor either.
Chen Fan answered gently.
“I know that—but I mean, where is this place?”
Medusa’s brows furrowed slightly.

“This… is no longer your world.”
“This is Blue Star, in the Qin Xia Empire.”
After a pause, Chen Fan explained.
“Blue Star? Qin Xia?”
Medusa’s brows knit even tighter. She had never heard of such a place.
“You’re likely stronger than I. Try sensing it for yourself—does my aura feel anything like yours?”
Chen Fan offered calmly.
“You… are a cultivator…”
“But you have no Dou Qi on you…”
As expected, after sensing his aura, Medusa came to a startling conclusion. Combined with the unfamiliar surroundings, she realized Chen Fan wasn’t lying.
“How… how could this happen?”
“I just failed at refining a fire…”
Medusa couldn’t accept this reality.
“As a strong one, anywhere can be your home…”
“Since you’re here, you might as well settle in.”
Chen Fan could only comfort her this way.
“That’s easy for you to say. What about my people…”
Medusa looked dazed and lost.
“So long as your deterrence is strong enough, you’re just ‘missing’—until your body is found, no one will dare act rashly, right?”

Chen Fan had a rough idea of who Medusa was and smiled in reassurance.
Sure enough, all the trash came from the myriad worlds.
Some of those worlds might even be ones he was familiar with.
After all, even this world, just a hundred years ago, had a drastically different development path than Blue Star.
Thinking of this, Chen Fan couldn’t help but get excited.
“It’s… possible to go back?”
Medusa’s eyes instantly filled with hope.
“I don’t know. After all, you’re the only living being I’ve ever seen arrive here.”
“And there’s no such thing as the impossible—just not strong enough.”
Chen Fan shook his head, but still gave her hope.
“The only living being?”
“You mean… other beings have come before?”
Medusa picked up on the key point.
“Not beings—their corpses.”
“When I found you, I honestly thought you were dead. Luckily, I felt your warmth and managed to revive you…”
Chen Fan’s tone carried a hint of helplessness, as if it had taken great effort to save her.
Only now did Medusa realize she hadn’t thanked her savior.
As a proud and noble queen, sensing Chen Fan’s sincerity made her lower her guard a little.
She still didn’t fully understand the humans of this world, but her prejudice eased.
“For now, just rest and recover.”
Chen Fan smiled, though inwardly, he was already thinking: I have to repair her before she heals on her own, then bind her and make her mine.
“Then… I’ll be in your care.”
Medusa didn’t refuse after a moment’s thought.
After all, she was in a completely foreign world, knowing nothing.
Having a place to stay was vital.
Especially before her injuries and strength returned.
At least the young man who took her in had a kind heart.
Chen Fan shook his head.

Medusa was full of curiosity.

Medusa murmured, curiosity in her eyes. Her purple serpentine tail slowly coiled as she entered a meditative state.
“System, how many points would it take to heal Medusa’s injuries?”
“Her cultivation level isn’t high. Full recovery will cost 5,000 points.”
“Just healing her injuries would require 1,000 points.”
The system responded.
Chen Fan frowned slightly.
Five thousand—and he didn’t even have a single point.
“Healing living beings generally costs more points.”
“Besides, her bloodline isn’t weak. More importantly, she carries significant qi luck.”
“Five thousand is not excessive.”
The system patiently explained.
Just then, Chen Fan heard sounds from his junkyard—the crash of new trash falling.
“The second wave of junk has arrived…”
“Today is my lucky day…”

Coming of age, the junkyard opening, finding a stunning beauty, system awakening, and now a second wave of treasure trash falling—
