The Land of the Light.
It was the training map that most closely resembled Earth. The sun was shining in the sky, and there were countless buildings and ruins on the land.
In a manor, a few trainees were rummaging through the shelves for recovery weapons. Although the recovery weapons were generally placed at the most obvious of places, the other items and accessories were usually less visible. For example, small recovery items like cola and chocolate could be hidden in the cabinets.
The “Fried Chicken Set” and the more superior “Barbeque Delights Set” that would instantaneously cause all health to be depleted could also be found at places where food would appear: on the bed, beneath the blankets, in the toilet…
The four-men team was actually doing a rather thorough job at searching for recovery weapons and items in the manor. A slouching, chubby young man said, “Wow, there is a Fried Chicken Set and three bottles of cola on the bed… They are randomly spawned, right?”
“I suppose so, I don’t think anyone would put all of them on the bed?” a girl said through the Team Contract Communication System Channel.
“Either way, this finally looks like a place where humans can live in. Could this be somewhere on Earth?” a middle-aged man remarked. He continued, “I was previously in Black Fiery Land, and I’m sure that there’s no place on Earth where lava from the volcano flows through the city.”
A girl with a sweet voice chimed in and said, “I was in White Snowy Field the previous round. It looked somewhat like a big nation in the North, but it was not fully like it… At least, I have not heard of any nation that uses polar bears as a mode of transportation. Brother Xi, do you have a scope? I have a gun but no scope.”
“I do, I’ll give it to you later, Little Tao,” came the reply.
The team consisted of two guys and two girls, all of whom were from Xuan Nation. With their Team Contracts, they sought to conquer Round 2 together.
Although there was an in-built translation system in the Team Contract and language barriers would thus not pose a problem in communication between team members, there was still a natural human tendency to isolate each other by skin color and nationality. Forming a team with people from the same nation was naturally seen to be better than forming a team with people with other nationalities.
“What kind of training is this exactly?” the young man, who was called Brother Xi by the rest of the team, asked. He was asking the same question that the team had been discussing for the entire day, saying, “What benefit is there to become the most powerful priest?”
The middle-aged man said, “Just know that there are no disadvantages to that. Even if we fail the training, our illnesses would be cured and our body would return to good shape, just like a strong and healthy ordinary person. In that way, there is no harm in continuing the training.”
“Uncle Li, what if those people that we have sent to the heavens actually died?” the girl, who was called Little Tao, asked.
“If that’s the case, then all the more that we have to fight till the end. Based on game theory, regardless of whether ascending to the heavens is real, only those who reach the end will be the champions,” Uncle Li said.

The next moment, the plump girl swiftly took aim at Little Tao with the “SCAR of the Rain” in her hands.
A series of Holy Bullets rained down on Little Tao but her reflexes were quick. She dodged to the left and took cover in the house.
“There’s an enemy! At the corner of the wall of the house, Brother Xi was killed!” Little Tao shouted.
“What?” Uncle Li replied.
Uncle Li who was in another room on the second floor rushed to the window and saw the plump girl that Little Tao was talking about. He raised his gun and aimed at her–
However, just as Uncle Li saw the plump girl in his 4x scope, he realized that she was also aiming at him!
Bang, bang, bang! The sound of three gunshots rang through the air. The level 1 “Poor Quality Rooster Helmet” Uncle Li was equipped with was fully healed and turned into a “Real Rooster Helmet”. It lost all of its healing effects and even mocked the enemy.
At the same time, however, Uncle Li’s health was fully recovered with three Holy Bullets. He went limp and collapsed to the floor, feeling an itching sensation throughout his body simultaneously.
It felt as if he wanted to shed a layer of skin.
Uncle Li said in realization, “So… It is because the body is trying to shed the aged layer of biological material which causes us to collapse to the ground when our health is fully recovered. But at that juncture, Uncle Li realized that the other girl, Jia Min, had also been shot down by the plump girl!
Little Tao, who was in the house, was the only one in their team that was still alive!
How could their four-men team be eliminated by just one person?
Uncle Li dragged himself and his body to the window. He peered out of the window using his beer belly as a cushion and saw the plump girl getting ready to invade the room.
Little Tao hid in one of the rooms in the house. Uncle Li looked on as the plump girl pushed open the room doors without any qualms, giving him a sense of hope—the plump girl definitely could not see what was happening inside the house, but she would always make noises when pushing open the doors, allowing Little Tao to know if she was near.
How considerate. If she started to search the house, Little Tao would definitely be able to shoot her to recovery!
However, Uncle Li saw the plump girl standing stationary by the door. She even put down her weapon, then pulled something with her left hand, and raised her right hand–
She was about to throw a Holy Grenade!

The Grim Bird Wyvern likes to linger around cemeteries and hospitals.”
“The Horrifying Metal Ghost is a Ghost-type monster. It arises from dead humans who were killed and their bodies stabbed with metallic weapons. Their bodies are as strong as metal and their bones are as hard as steel. Their claws are no match for swords and are extremely fast. They are susceptible to mud. The Horrifying Metal Ghost feeds on metal for survival.”
“The Evil Fire Spirit is a Spirit-Demon-Ghost type monster. All living souls that die in the flames of fire can become a Fire Spirit. It can control the flames of fire and ignite any object. Rings of fire always surround their bodies to set any living organism they encounter on fire. They are susceptible to water and troops.”
“True souls are formed when the objects that humans and monsters frequently use are empowered with spiritual Reiki. Most true souls do not harm humans and could instead strengthen and improve the quality of the objects. However, if the object is used for killing and slaughtering, the owner could become deluded…”
The voice actually did not speak slowly, but Uncle Li was able to remember every single word that was said as if he was reading a book.
He saw the plump girl’s mouth open and close, and it was obvious that the voice belonged to her.
But why was she suddenly telling us the descriptions of the monsters?
After she finished saying the 18 different descriptions of the monsters, she continued, “When you go back, upload this information onto the internet or the likes as soon as possible. Believe me, the earlier this information is published, the more beneficial it would be…”
The moment she finished, Uncle Li saw the plump girl throw the Holy Grenade into the room that Little Tao was in.
In the short yet clear singing of hymns, Uncle Li and his three teammates lost all of their filthy aged body and ascended to the heavens with their confused memories.
