Belated Launch Reflections 0 0/~
I was a bit tired yesterday and didn't manage to write this, sorry >.<
Speaking of which, this is the second time the book has gone live,
I actually didn't feel quite ready, so I communicated with the editor again and
postponed it from June 1st to June 3rd. In the meantime, I updated several chapters consecutively,
and on the 3rd, I released 2 free chapters before finally launching the VIP chapters.
Those of you who have stuck with it until here are probably the long-time fans (laughs)
The early stages of this book were a bit chaotic, with the various plotlines not very clear.
I guess many of you have noticed. In fact, this is also a result of the inner struggles and adjustments of Qing Kong.
There's actually a lot I want to write about, such as the civilizational transformations between the Fourth and Sixth Eras, their dramatic ups and downs,
how Hexia slowly grew and evolved, the profound albeit hidden relationship between the Color Level Songstress and the Federation, and the details and concepts of life across various societal strata in the Federation today.
I feel like I'm the type who loves cozy day-to-day life,
yet restless with just that, kind of wanting it all, or a bit discontented 0 0,,
It's like sitting in a classroom watching classmates play basketball, sitting inside listening to the rain tapping, or cuddling up to a warm stove and watching the snow outside the window.
I don't want to be completely isolated from the world, which would cause me a bit of panic and unease, fearful of being abandoned and left behind, obsolete.
But I also don't want to fully engage in competition,
always wanting to keep a bit of distance from the mainstream,
not wanting to be engulfed by the sweeping tide of major trends, because then I feel like I wouldn't be myself anymore.
This awkward mentality, when reflected in the chapters I type, is just , on one hand I like it, but on the other, I resist it. (I say I don't want it, but in my heart, I like it, right?)
Cough cough, let's stop here for now. I've straightened out a lot of the plotlines today. I was too eager before, fearing that if things moved too slowly, you'd give up on the book.
Now that it's already not perfect, I don't care anymore and will just proceed at a relaxed pace.
I'll slowly narrate the majestic historical changes from the Fourth to the Sixth Era, slowly tell the story of how Tilan became an impressive and exceptional dark Songstress, slowly recount how the picture book in Hexia's hands records the vivid and astonishing colors, those shining stars, those ordinary little things. I hope they all can be embellishments in your dreams.
