The clash between Regus and Satan's tier8 attacks continued for a total duration of 1 minute 45 seconds.
The Black Apostle tried its best during these 105 seconds to break past Ixtal's Supremacy, however, against the constant beam of chaos energy emitted by Regus's attack it ultimately fell short and dissipated.
The shock on Satan's face when his ultimate attack fell short was unreal.
This attack was the ultimate move in his arsenal.
It had taken him countless decades of hard work to just comprehend the fundamental laws behind the attack and almost a decade more to learn it till basic mastery.
He had once used the move to kill a star by forcibly making its core unstable and causing it to blast, yet today it fell short.
Never in his wildest dreams could he have imagined that the first time he used the [ Black Apostle ] in proper combat would be the first time he failed, as he stood defenceless while Regus's attack made its way towards his body.
" Die " Regus said with a calm voice as he panted heavily to try and recover from the exertion his body was facing from unleashing this move.
Although his attack had ultimately came out on top, the backlash was severe for him as well, as just as how Satan was unable to manoeuvre and evade the attack because of fatigue, Regus too felt like his body was drained of every bit of strength and could barely stay standing on two feet.
Just before the Chaos beam hit Satan, the horn-headed sovereign mustered all the strength in his body which manifested itself in the face of certain death and used it to lift his weapon to try and block the incoming attack.
" GAHHH " Satan screamed as he was pushed back instantly with the full force of Regus's attack being met by his divine trident-axe.
The weapon began reverberating uncontrollably as it could not handle the power of the raw chaos energy.
The weapon was gifted to Satan by his closest friend Lucifer and had been a trusty partner of his since a long time.
Being a divine grade weapon, it was nearly indestructible, yet in front of the chaos energy, the weapon began to crack and slowly disintegrate.
Satan, who was pushed back for about two kilometres as he tried to desperately gain his footing and stand his ground against the beam, was horrified when his trusty weapon broke.
The second that his weapon broke, Satan was hit by the full force of Regus's attack which blasted a hole through the sovereign's chest.

Spurting a mouthful of blood, Satan dropped down to his knees as his HP became dangerously red and continued to deplete fast as he lost a lot of blood.
His vision doubled as he looked at the hazy figure of the approaching Regus with bloodshot eyes and tried to murmur something but could not manage to utter words as he only spat more blood.
Regus was tired, he did not want to move even for a centimetre more, yet he mustered the strength and raised his sword before taking Satan's head off his chest clean, putting an end to the sovereign's suffering.
He did so because he wanted to show his underlings that he was undefeatable and this strength was why he was the monarch.
While on the other hand, he wanted to show his enemies that he had already defeated their sovereign, and if they continued to oppose him, he could also kill them all.
As Regus lifted Satan's decapitated head and embraced his hard-fought victory-
A loud cheer broke out from the vampire gods who were the only ones left around to witness the glory of their king, as while they cheered, a depressed atmosphere gripped Satan's forces who were in absolute disbelief that their leader had been killed.
For a moment it seemed like everything was going well for the vampires, that now with Satan dead they would undoubtedly win this war and destroy the disc, yet before the celebrations of the vampires could even begin…
Before their morale could even reach a high and impact their fighting style.
Loud claps reverberated through the battlefield as all eyes were drawn towards three tall figures who had just teleported on the battlefield and were walking towards Regus with wide grins on their faces.
All colour drained from the faces of the vampire gods as they felt like their hearts were about to fail.
Regus too turned extremely serious in an instant as he dropped Satan's head and took a few steps back to create distance between himself and the approaching figures.
" What a fight, I was indeed right when I warned Satan that you were no pushover " A sinister voice said as Regus looked once to his right and then to his left to try and analyse his options.
" If you run, we kill every vampire in sight " The Mercenary King Avans said as Regus instantly grit his teeth.
" Ouch, looks like we hit a nerve " The Savage King said as it looked like the dastardly trio was having a field day watching Regus's helpless state.
" It's unfortunate we came a few seconds late, initially my plan was undoubtedly to make this fight a 4v1. But it's fine, I guess Satan did his part " Lucifer said in his usual sly and sinister tone as he flexed his black angel wings and pointed his sword imbued with the seed of darkness towards Regus.
" Lucifer…. " Regus said with pure disgust as he analysed that he had no other option but to fight.
If he ran now, there was no doubt that the three bastards would indiscriminately slaughter the vampire forces.
Yet, in his current state, he was definitely in no position to fight and would not last long especially against the three of them.
But, despite the disadvantage, as a King he could only do his best as he looked around and locked eyes with an Aurelius clan general and issued his orders.
" I'll hold them off, all of you run back to the base " Regus said with no cracks in his voice as despite facing certain death, the vampire monarch was as calm and stoic as always.
