Mommy Alert! The CEO Daddy Won't Stop Courting Chapter 12

The Davies family grandmother chatted with Adrian Davies for a while longer before ending the video call.

Just as the video ended, Adrian received a call from his friend Malcom Moore as he was walking out of the study. "Adrian, want to come out for a few drinks?"

The Morris family was born and bred in River City, long occupying the top of the financial rankings, undisputed rulers of the city.

However, Adrian Davies’ arrival broke this inertia four years ago.

When Adrian entered River City, he quickly replaced the Morris family and rose to the top of the financial rankings, becoming the new ruler, the new king of the city.

Malcom Moore, 25 years old.

Young, talented, handsome, and capable, he was the Crown Prince of the Morris family.

He was different from Adrian Davies, one was calm and the other was charmingly mischievous.

One kept a stern face all day, cold and ruthless, always exuding an air of "stay away."

The other chatted and laughed all day, outgoing and approachable.

Yet they shared the same keen business acumen and ruthless decisiveness in handling matters.

Initially, when Adrian forcefully entered River City, people imagined that these equally ruthless Crown Princes would become entangled in an endless feud.

But to everyone’s surprise, instead of becoming sworn enemies, they became close friends.

Since then, Adrian Davies focused on fashion, jewelry, and foreign trade, while Malcom’s Morris family continued with real estate and entertainment.

The two formidable figures dominated River City, with no one daring to provoke them.

Hearing Malcom’s proposal, Adrian immediately agreed, "Where?"

Malcom’s narrow eyes narrowed slightly, and he smiled, "The usual place. I’ll be waiting for you here, don’t be a no-show!"

Adrian coldly ended the call and walked out.

He approached the massive garage and casually picked a Maybach to drive.

Ned Faris and Patrick Faris followed closely, getting into a black Bentley.

The two luxury cars drove out of the garage, down the hillside villa, and into the downtown area.

Screech—the sound of tires skidding as the two luxury cars stopped in front of a grand bar located in the entertainment center of River City.

Adrian got out of the car, and Ned and Patrick followed suit.

The valet swiftly jogged over, respectfully took the car keys, and went to park the cars.

CC Pub, River City’s largest entertainment venue, belonged to the Morris family.

Seeing Adrian, the doorman immediately opened the door for him and bowed respectfully, "Welcome, Director Davies."

Adrian entered the bar, walked through it, and went directly to Malcom Moore’s private booth.

As soon as the booth door opened, Adrian saw Malcom lounging elegantly in a snow-white shirt and black trousers.

Beside Malcom sat a hot-bodied woman.

The woman was leaning entirely against Malcom.

Whatever Malcom said to her, she pretended to be displeased, playfully hitting his chest.

Seeing this scene, Adrian immediately frowned with displeasure.

Noticing Adrian’s arrival, Malcom promptly patted the woman’s cheek, a smile on his handsome, devilish face, "Sweetheart, you go out first."

The beauty seemed to know Malcom’s character well.

Despite her reluctance, she pouted and left the booth.

With the woman gone, only Adrian and Malcom remained in the booth.

Adrian stood there with a look of disdain without any intention to sit.

His aversion was due to the woman’s strong perfume lingering in the booth.

Malcom poured himself a drink and swirled it in his hand, "Adrian, this won’t do. Time is precious, and life without women is hard."

Adrian continued to stand at the entrance, coldly glancing at Malcom without speaking.

"Alright, I give up, is that okay?" Malcom said, defeated.

He took an air freshener from nowhere and sprayed it around.

Once the perfume smell was completely covered, Adrian finally stretched his long legs and walked over to sit down.

He grabbed a clean glass, poured himself a drink, and downed it in one go.

Malcom curiously watched Adrian, who seemed off, but instead of asking about it, he brought up another topic he was interested in.

"Adrian, I heard your company got a new model? How is she? Is she pretty?"

Hearing Malcom’s question, Adrian paused in his action of pouring wine.

Pretty?

She should be pretty.

Why was he thinking of that woman again? Adrian frowned in annoyance and continued pouring wine.

A fan of beauties, Malcom was eager, "Adrian, don’t rush to drink, tell me about that new model of yours."

Adrian frowned, "Nothing to say."

"How can there be nothing to say? I heard she’s an international model, famous for a unique fragrance that attracts butterflies. You know I am different from you, I am interested in all kinds of beauties."

Malcom’s long eyes looked at Adrian with great interest as he continued, "If she’s a beauty, I’d like to see what a woman with such fragrance is like. And if she’s a stunning beauty, it might just win over my wild heart, you never know."

Watching Malcom indulge his imaginings, Adrian suddenly said coldly, "Very ugly!"

"What? Very ugly? But she’s an international model, an international model!" Malcom was in disbelief, "Adrian, keeping it to yourself like this isn’t good! You don’t like women, but I do, buddy."

Adrian downed another glass, coldly responding, "Attracting attention isn’t a skill, believe what you will."

To someone like you who sees women as nothing, I bet all women look ugly in your eyes. I’d be crazy to believe you!

Malcom inwardly scoffed, but outwardly wore a genuine smile, "I believe, how could I not believe Young Master Davies."

Adrian nodded in satisfaction and suddenly asked Malcom, "Malcom, are there any rumors about me circulating outside?"

Malcom swallowed a sip of red wine and casually replied, "You’re the new big shot in River City. Ever since you arrived and overshadowed our Morris family, there’s been plenty of talk about you."

Adrian was unsatisfied with Malcom’s answer and continued asking, "Any saying I’m incapable?"

Everyone only knew he disliked women; nobody said he was incapable.

"Pfft..." A mouthful of red wine sprayed out from Malcom’s mouth, followed by his loud laughter, "Haha... Why’d you think of asking this?"
