Jian Luo glanced at his bloody and dust-covered clothes and nodded.
All three returned to their respective rooms to freshen up. Black Jack and Bai Jue often stayed here and each had their own designated room.

Just as Black Jack stepped out of the bathroom, he heard a knock on the door.
He walked over, opened the door and saw Bai Jue standing outside with a medicine box.
Bai Jue cast an up-and-down gaze at him standing at the door and remarked, “Tsk, tsk, can’t you wear a robe before you open the door? What if Jian Qing was the one at the door?”
Goodness, him being draped only in a towel, who was he showing off his body to?
Black Jack, too lazy to respond to him, turned around and walked in.
“I don’t remember you being this caring, coming all the way to dress my wound.”
Bai Jue walked in with the medicine box. Hearing his words, he scoffed, “If it wasn’t for Jian Luo nagging on about your wound, I couldn’t care less about you.”
At these words, Black Jack’s lips twitched, his eyes brimming with mirth.
Bai Jue sat down on the couch, opened the medicine box, and said, “Come over here now.”
Black Jack sat down beside him and Bai Jue roughly grabbed his hand to examine it.

Picking up the specialized ointment and bandages, Bai Jue began to apply the medication roughly.
“Say, as a doctor, can’t you have some medical ethics? Can you stop your revenge seeking ways?” Black Jack, watching as Bai Jue prodded the wound with the cotton swab, grimaced with pain.
“I never cared for medical ethics in the first place,” responded Bai Jue, revealing a set of white teeth, and viciously jabbed the cotton swab into the wound.
Black Jack grumbled, calling Bai Jue childish.
Throwing down the cotton swab, Bai Jue picked up the bandage. His mouth never kept quiet.
“So, what’s the situation with you and Luo Xiaobai right now? Have you guys made up?”
Black Jack’s eyes slightly narrowed, staying silent.
“Man, you. You know that Luo Xiaobai doesn’t understand matters of the heart. Yet you chose to resent him for you having a girlfriend. Aren’t you only making things difficult for yourself?” Bai Jue carped helplessly.
Black Jack’s eyes darkened further, still giving no reaction.
Bai Jue indifferent to his reaction continued, “If you still do not speak up and Luo Xiaobai finds a girlfriend, you’ll be left crying to death.”
“You do appear more human-like when your mouth’s shut,” Black Jack glared coldly at him and said sarcastically.
Bai Jue, having finished with the bandage, let go of his hand and said, “I’m sorry, but I can no longer provide my service. Next time you get injured, don’t come to me, the one with no medical ethics or humanity.”

“You can leave now,” Black Jack added.
Bai Jue was furious. Picking up the medicine box, he got ready to leave.
In nearing the door, he saw Jian Luo about to enter. A mischievous grin crossed Bai Jue’s face.
“What are you doing coming back here?” Black Jack saw him return and raised an eyebrow.
Bai Jue dropped the medical box, grinned maliciously and said, “Black Jack, what if I helped you out?”
“What?” Black Jack felt an alarm go off inside him.
Every time Bai Jue had that wry smile on his face, it would spell trouble.
Bai Jue smirked mysteriously, mentally counting down.

Black Jack looked up, his eyes alert onto Bai Jue, wondering what he was up to.

Bai Jue grunted an acknowledgement, taking his sweet time before getting up and adjusting his clothes, maintaining an air of calmness.
Standing up, Black Jack walked over to his bed to pick up his robe and put it on.
Jian Qing led Jian Luo into the room, her eyes teasing as they traveled over the two men. “You two were having a wrestling match just now?”
Bai Jue gave a wild excuse, “Slipped a bit.”
Jian Qing laughed, “You think we will believe that?”
“Can’t help it if you don’t believe me.” Bai Jue shrugged.
Black Jack walked over and sat opposite to Jian Luo.
Jian Luo looked at the guy opposite, an odd expression on his face.
“Luo Xiaobai, what’s with that look?” Unable to bear it any longer, Black Jack nearly spat out these words.
