It was clearly a self-inflicted punishment.
After dinner, Quan Mingxuan was made to wash dishes by Quan Jingwu while he accompanied his beloved.
Their pet, Snowball, was asleep next to Jian Qing’s feet. At a distance, it looked like a massive ball of fur.
