Underneath the burning sun, Natsuki swings his sword. Standing in the shade was Grandmaster Delign, one of the few renowned men who have reached the legendary 9th level of Sword master, an advanced form of warrior.
Nodding his head at the young boy's persistence, he called him to stop. "Young man, it's time for you to take a break. The other are waiting for you in the castle." With that said, he turned on his heels.
Wiping off his sweat, Natsuki panted in exhaustion, still not accepting his current weakness. Damn it, still not enough. I must become stronger faster, quicker, better. These people need me...
Still not reconciled with his situation, he headed back in, towel in hand. As usual, he glanced at his status:

A soft cannonball landed on his chest, tipped in pink. "Nacchan, how are you~"
Turns out, it was Megumi who had barrelled at him. Wincing in pain, he chastised her. "Megumi-chan, please don't do it here. You know as well that this ain't our home..."
Signaling with his eyes, he indicated that there were people monitoring them. Knights clad in full metal armour, while their faces not visible, can be felt following their every trace.
"Anyways, what're you doing here? Weren't you supposed to be with the Archbishop of the Church of Light, learning how to use your class?" Megumi began pouting, complaining "That old crud can go to the sewers for all I care! Doesn't he know that a maiden needs a balanced day! I mean, look at my nails, they've gone stale!"
Pinching his eyes, Natsuki tried reasoning with her. "Look, I know how tough it's for me, you, and Hana. But the people here needs us more. Anyways, why are we being called now?" Natsuki asked in puzzle.
Waving her hands, Megumi offhandedly answered, "Meh, they're gonna teach us how to advance our tiers or whatever. Anyways, how was toda-"
Natsuki dashed, eager to learn more.
Reaching their destination, a quaint room in the palace, Natsuki entered. Inside, he saw three tables, upon which there was already a student. Hina was sitting there, focused on the board. Megumi came in after Natsuki, a full 5 minutes later.
Sitting at the table, they did not wait long, for an old, beautiful-looking woman to enter the room. With a wave of her hand, words floated through the air, landing on the board.
With a cough, she began her lesson.
"In the primordial ages, approximately 5000 years ago, the Demon God came from beyond the stars. Against him, no one could stand their grounds. Civilization itself started to crumble, with knowledge and artifacts being burnt to the ground. When all seemed lost, the two esteemed Goddesses, Illumia and Nyxis came, granting the life of Earadun the ability to level up. The concept of tiers were used to determine how strong we were.
With this, the people of back them, along with the three heroes eternal, banished the Demon God, ending his reig of terror. Yet the price paid was steep indeed. Everything was destroyed, with no remnants of knowledge present. But all hope was not lost. Using the new power system, humanity and the others soon rebuilt civilization. Though there were still wars, we did not reach to the point of utter annihilation, for the Goddesses always intervened when we did so."
