Adolfo barged into the room, exasperated. "CEO Duncan, could you please inform us next time where you're going? You nearly killed us all with your stunts; you do know this, right? Anyways where were you?"
Only then did the elf look up.
Twiddling the device, the rugged elf, finally acknowledging the Aviatrix, turned towards him. "Hmm? Oh yeah, I went to a quaint little shop near the edge of the walls. Heard of 'Simon's Snippets'? They have some very... let's say...interesting inventions there. Anyways, how's the search going?"
Gone was the lazy, laidback look.
Duncan stood up, putting the self-flipping cat onto the table. He stood from his chair, heading to the large window beside his desk. Peering out, he catches glimpses of a busy street: vendors lining up, selling their snacks and treats, hawkers sitting in their carpets, haggling with the multitude of customers that come by.
However, his gaze only lingered here for a brief moment, for his main attraction was not here at all. Lifting his head, he gazed at a large tower, ancient murals and glyphs adorning the entrance.

Soldering the final piece of Dracolion leather onto the portable handheld heater, Lewis wiped off the sweat from his forehead. Dammit, I'm an engineer, not a fucking tailor!
Yet he couldn't do anything about it:
A – He was only a tier-1 Mechanical Engineer
B – He was overstuffed with experience
The battle with Wabbit had given him a lot of experience, enough to propel him to tier-2, but it was too much. Either way, I still need to check how good this damn tool is first...

"Wait, you have a dungeon here! Why didn't I hear of that!?" Wiping off the saliva splattered across his face, Simon patiently explained. "Well, yeah. I mean, when we met, you were only here for a couple of days anyway. Also, you'd be committing suicide for going to a dungeon now anyway..."
Realisation dawned upon him when Simon gave him the knowing gaze. Shit, he's right...
Clapping his hands, a burning fire reignited within Lewis. "Well, now that we know that there are dungeons, our target market shall expand! With more customers, we'll have more money! With more money, we are closer to reaching the Moon!"
Roaring in the air, Simon and Lewis felt pumped. Eager to begin creating more tools, Lewis got to the edge of the door but stopped.
"Oh yeah..." Lewis turned around, curiosity burning within. "Simon, how does one get skills? And how do dungeons come into play here?"
