"Pfft! What!?"
At the sudden question, the woman could not help but splutter at the absurd reaction of the man before her. People usually piss their pants in fear when confronted with a situation such as this, yet the man before her did the unthinkable:
He tried to court her
Seeing that she didn't deem it right tonslitnhis throat, Lewis backed off slowly until the knife was no longer on his throat. "Look, I don't know why, but I feel very attracted to you. It's not a matter of your looks, but more of, per se, your inherent nature; you exude an atmosphere of intelligence, the aura of a scholar, something which deeply fascinates me..."
For some reason, she felt herself being led on by his sweet words; his way with the words somehow felt different, like he was attracted to her insides, not her looks as most people who see her for the first time do.
So she did what she had never done before...
"Sure, you wanna go to 'Mikil's Meats'? T-they have the best boar stew there..."
Feeling himself successfully snagging a (beautiful) like-minded colleague, he pumped his hands in his mind, leading the way with great strides.
Behind him, a pair of eyes glowed bright pink for a brief moment before a flurry of steps, followed by a surprised woman.

Sitting at the table, slurping on the cream of boar stew, Lewis and Celine discussed a lot of topics together. Surprised at how erudite she was, he found himself more and more engrossed with her.
Her deep knowledge of illusions is what shocked him. He knew that in Earadun, many people believed that illusions were for sissies, weak people who were too scared to kill people by hand.
"You have to know that illusions, like real illusions, require more calculations than your usual magical spell. Let me give you an example: suppose you have a tier-5 Firebolt spell vs. a tier-2 Perisa Illusion spell. You'd expect the Firebolt spell to decimate the enemy immediately, but only if the caster is unprepared. With the right preparations, the Illsusion magician would win, because it has the greatest advantage of all time:
It can easily trick a mind into believing something which is not real...

If done correctly, it can trick the brain into thinking it's dead, thereby making your opponent believe that they're actually dead. Of course, only real Illusion magicians can do it..."
She puffed her chest, satisfied, her assets bulging greatly beneath her robe. Despite the obvious view, Lewis was instead mesmerised by her vast knowledge.
She's so...perfect
Before they could continue, a barrelling Rabbitos crashed into their table, her ears trembling in anger. "YOU STUPID– Oh, hello there, sorry for the yelling. panion here had forgotten an important meeting we were supposed to have, so I came here to see why she was soon late. And I must say, you do look very handsome..."
Leaning back, Lewis could not help but feel disgusted while looking at her. Despite looking like a beautiful girl with bright blue rabbit ears, she somehow elicited a sense of disgust in him.
Not to mention how uncomfortable Celine felt around her, fidgeting very frequently.
Despite his skepticism, he simply raised an eye and left them to their own devices.
"Okay, Ms. Celine... If you need anything, come to Simon's Snippets. I'm there all day, every day..."

Cercis looked at the stupid bitch in front of her, scowling deeply. Her anger began rising to the point that her whiskers began showing on her cheeks.
Slap!
"You stupid bitch, where did you go! Don't you know that any mistake here would unravel everything that we had worked towards, greatly disappointing his majesty the Demon King!? I swear, if it wasn't for the fact that you had someone high up in the army covering you, you wouldn't be alive. Why am I working with a failure like you..."
The only answer she got were drops of water falling onto the table, along with some light sniffling.
