Walking down the streets, Lewis was forced to ponder regarding the specialised quest that he was given.
"Hey, watch where you're going asshole! I'll sue the shit out of you if you dare step on Golbra!"
Ignoring the pissed-off Goblin, Lewis marched back home, concerned about the content of the quest...

"Wait, what! I'm the one who's going to investigate that Mansion!? Why not pick someone else!?"
Looking at Lewis, outraged, slamming his palms on his table, the tier-5 Vice Guild Master of Mithrador Guild, Durmast, calmly returned his gaze to Lewis. Even though he was a Dwarven 'Hammer Knight', he kept his calm (unlike his fellow brethren, who would've smashed his skull into pieces here and then).
Wiping the spittle away from his face, Durmast calmly continued on what he was saying. "As I was saying, Mr Lewis Brown, before I was so rudely interrupted by your...unexpected outburst, I have decided to enlist in your services in exploring the Mysteful Mansion on the far outskirts of Mithrador. I have heard some... 'peculiar'... rumours about the mansion, something along the lines of 'the Demon King is here!', along with scenes of people fainting unexpectedly green after being attacked by 'wraithful shadows'. I want you to go and explore the mansion, and see what exactly is happening there!"
At this point, the Dwarf began pounding the Eldar Mahogany table, splinters flying everywhere. Realising that he had gone too far after seeing splinters on Lewis's goggles, Durmast coughed awkwardly, staring to his right.
Ignoring the outburst, Lewis asked him the burning question on his mind: "Why did you pick me? I mean, I'm just a measly tier-2, uh, Blacksmith..."
Squinting, Durmast picked up his cup, sipping the alcohol-heavy coffee (Lewis swore he could see the air distort with the high alcohol concentration in it). Standing up, he stood in front of the window, gazing at the street below. "Kid, I don't know from where you are, or where you've been, but I know capable people when I see them. You don't live for hundreds of years without gaining a skill or two. I can see within you a strong desire, a strong desire to accomplish your goals, using any means if necessary. It also helps the fact that you have created many wonderful tools within the last few months..."
Here, Durmast opens up his drawer, taking out from within several contraptions within, along with their placards. "I have quite a few interesting...contraptions here..."
With that said, Lewis looked down at the table, pupils shrinking in shock:

Quiet as a mouse, Lewis had no other words left.

"Very well Mr. Lewis. I expect you to leave for the assignment within the next 3 days, for we don't have much time on our hands. The monsters in the forest have been getting increasingly...agitated in these past few days..."
