Seeing the old Elf revert back from his Horned Grizzly form, the group took in a sharp breath, Titus more so, for he knew the strength of the Elf in front of him. He was supposed to be one of the most promising Elves in his generation. Who, or what, crippled him this bad!?
Despite being shocked at the brutal entrance, Titus wasted no time in hauling the old Elf from the walls, rejoining whatever fragments there were of his broken jaw. "Healing potion, stat!"
Broken from her stupor, Goblina quickly retrieved a vial of her Super Recovery series potion from her bag, handing it to the Orc without any hesitation. Pouring the reddish liquid onto Eldruis' jaw, broken muscles and shattered bones cracked and reforged themselves, reforming to a somewhat misshapen mouth.
"Es...cape...from...here..."
"Whu–?"
Boom!
Scuttling over a bed of steel gears, a semi-mechanical being slithered its way towards them, shooting beams of concentrated green laser. Barely dodging the initial strike, Simon batted away one of the beams, causing it to ricochet off his hammer. Without any break Goblina threw one of her Burning Explosives, which (although not hurting it at all), gave them sufficient time to retreat while holding the still wounded Eldruis.

Wheeze, wheeze, wheeze...
Breathing as hard as he can, Eldruis bandaged as much of his wounds as possible, trying to stymy as much blood as possible. "Thanks guys, if not for your distraction, I don't know how i could've survived..."
Coughing globules of blood, Edruis clutched his chest, gripping hard on his broken staff. "That, that unholy abomination...that thing caused this whole shitshow to go sky high. Whatever that Succubus bitch did before she left caused serious damage to us. At first, everything was going smoothly. Even after those steel monstrosities emerged from the Great Hole, the local Adventurers were able to handle them with ease, despite the weird weapons they used. But itnall changed with the advent of their leader, Mechmagos Gears..."
Uttering this name gave Eldruis the shivers, infecting the rest of them with it. Titus, while not shivering, secretly clenched his fists, unable to believe what he has heard. Shit! Those lunatics came here as well!?

"So, what do we do now...?"
After the brief moment of fear, Simon asked in trepidation. Sighing, Lewis shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. I mean, c'mon man, even Eldruis had his handed to him (sorry to you), and he's a tier-6 Shaman. What about us!? We're just a bunch of rag-tags, whose only dream was to help a Dwarf go to the Moon..."
Slumping his shoulders, Lewis sat down defeated, unable to confront the hopeless reality in front of him.
"Damn, I thought I wouldn't see them again..."
Breaking the silence was an unexpected person.
Sighing, Titus reveals who they are, to their utter shock.
"I can't believe that we have a Chapter of the Church of Mekanicum here. Those heretics were supposed to be exterminated on the Crags of Morag by KD-935, 'Hammer To Fall', during the final days of The Great Expedition..."
