After making up his mind, he ruffled Ruff's head and told the dog, "Ruff, we'll be going hunting soon. You have to bring your A game. None of that sloppy performance that you showed when we went hunting for deer."
Ruff looked up at him and barked. He didn't understand what Arthur was saying, but he was eager nonetheless.

Ruff has the many robbers who broke into the compound and died to thank for his cultivation. Their flesh was full of nutrition and very empowering.
Then there are the pills Arthur has been giving him from the first time that he was robbed. Arthur realized the danger he was in and decided to assist his pet to become stronger.
Looking at Ruff's clueless but excited eyes, Arthur laughed. Then he kissed the dog on his head and said, "Come on. Let's go to bed. We will have a big day tomorrow."
They went to bed and woke up early the next day. Then Arthur went about doing what he normally does. But he took some time out of his schedule to make some preparations for his career as a hunter.
It wasn't until a few days after that he was done with his preparation. When that day came, he took a trip to the Ten Thousand Beast Hunting Center with Ruff at 10 am after his usual class at his dojo.
The ten-thousand beast hunting center is one of the biggest buildings at the Agate market. It has five floors in total.
It is said that if one wants to get the force diagram, they must first gain access to the fourth floor. The only way to ascend the building and gain access to other floors is to increase one's hunter grade in the Ten Thousand Beast Hunting Society.
Grade is a measure of power and capability. It is not assigned at random. It is proven over time with effort.
As a new hunter, he will start from the fire grade. That means he will only be able to gain access to the ground floor.
He has ridden Ruff to his destination because Ruff is strong enough to carry him and because Ruff is too big to enter a carriage.
When they stopped in front of their destination, they saw a lot of people, both men and women, going into and leaving the building.
Large dead beasts the size of cars were being wheeled in and out of the building. These large beasts was what drew the attention of everyone.
Even he was transfixed by the size of the beasts. No one paid attention to him, but Ruff's presence drew a lot of attention.
Ruff was also a beast. But unlike these dead ones, he was still alive. It meant that they still stood a chance in claiming his head.
These violent hunters began staring at Ruff and began imagining how much they would earn if they brought his carcass to the Ten Thousand Beast Hunting Center.
He wasn't surprised by the attention that Ruff was getting because his dog is eye-catching.
Ruff is very big and handsome. He has reached Arthur's chest when he is standing on all fours. His size combined with his abundant and luxurious golden fur makes it nearly impossible not to glance at him.
While some would only glance at him and stop looking or keep looking in fear and awe, the people that frequent the Ten Thousand Beast Hunting Center mostly looked at Ruff as prey.
Arthur found the whole thing to be normal, but Ruff didn't like it. He bared his teeth at the hunters and growled at them.
The hunters were not intimidated. Some of them wanted to make a move there and there, but they had to consider the owner of such a beast. So they turned their attention to him and began inspecting him.
What they saw was a boy of 1.8 meters or 6 feet wearing a black martial outfit and having a large amount of red hair that cascaded over his shoulders and reached his lower back.
Most of them recognized who he was immediately. After all, he is a pretty famous person.
Be it his expensive and poisonous wine, or his dojo with the largest number of students, or his actions of giving away bread every day for months, or his hunt and execution of gangs all over the city. All of them have made him very popular.
Some of them liked him, and some of them hated him. But no one dared to underestimate him. At least, not the hunters who were tempted by a beast of the first mortal coil.

He walked into the large building with Ruff by his side, warily watching everyone.
The door of the building was large. It looked more like a gate because ten people could easily pass through it at the same time.
The inside of the building was even bigger. The height of the ceiling was twice the normal height, while the room itself occupied an area as large as a mansion.
Without the people and the furniture within the room, it would look as large as a football pitch. Yet, this was just the common area where hunters entertain themselves and interact with one another.
At the edge of this room were counters. These counters were manned by attendants, and they lined the edge of the room with only a few breaks.
