The man shook his head and said, "That big sword can't save you, boy."
"Now be a good boy and come over. I won't kill you. I just want to take a layer of skin off of your buttocks for causing me so much trouble."
Actually, he wants to kill Arthur. But he can't because the people who sent him repeatedly told him not to kill Arthur. They only asked him to warn Arthur off.
He isn't supposed to harm Arthur, but he wants revenge for all the trouble that Arthur has caused him. Arthur's giant sword won't stop him from getting that revenge.
Arthur asked with suspicion, "Who are you?"
The man shook his head, "No more questions. Now get over here."
He growled that last part. Even so, Arthur refused to go over to have the flesh of his buttocks split open. This understandably got the man angry.
The man's body bulged slightly as a lot of his muscles contracted. This caused an explosive force to appear in his body.
Then he moved and appeared beside Arthur immediately. He crossed the distance between them nearly instantaneously.
It was as if he had teleported. It was unnatural.
Arthur's eyes widened in shock. He thought to himself in shock, "No one should be able to move like that."
The human body shouldn't have that kind of acceleration. The man had been standing still, yet he was able to reach his top speed nearly instantly.
Just one step was enough for him to reach Arthur. If he wanted to kill Arthur, he would have crushed his head with one blow.
But he didn't plan to kill the boy. He just wanted to punish him. His plan is to play around with Arthur for a while. So he let Arthur attack him.
He expected it to take a while for Arthur to catch up to his new position and attack him. So he was surprised when Arthur's giant sword swung in his direction a moment after appearing beside the boy.
He teased slightly, "It seems that you're very strong. Not bad. No wonder you survived both the poison and injuries."
He said that as he tapped the blade of the giant sword. It was just a small tap, but the giant sword cracked into pieces and shattered.
Arthur felt it personally, so he knew that the attack wasn't as simple as a tap. The sword had vibrated in his hands after it was tapped.
The vibration was so powerful that the sword couldn't take it. The sword became so stressed that it broke apart into fragments.
Arthur's eye narrowed when the sword was destroyed. It was a big loss, but he was able to confirm something from that attack.
He said to himself, "Two threads. So he is at least at the first transformation of the second mortal coil."
He had felt two threads of force. That meant the man had a cultivation that was at least at the first transformation of the second mortal coil.
This finding made him increasingly sure of the identity of who he was fighting. It also made him confident enough to fight.
He dropped the sword and punched the man in the face. His attack was painfully slow to the man. He could have dodged the punch; he decided to hold his ground and use it to teach Arthur a lesson.
He grabbed Arthur's fist with confidence. But his confidence disappeared immediately when the force of the fist hit his hand.
He deflected the punch since the control of his body was better than Arthur's. But the punch still struck him in the shoulder.
He was struck with so much force that he had to step back. He had a look of disbelief as he was pushed back.
He was even about to fall because his posture before receiving that punch was too relaxed and unstable. But he stopped himself from falling by stomping his foot on the ground quickly.
The force of his stomp was as impactful as the force of Arthur crashing into the ground from a story off the ground. It created a loud boom that woke people up in the neighboring house.
But no one paid attention to him because they were already used to loud noises from his compound. They hear it every time he strikes the anvil during his training every day.
No one interfered in their fight. It was just one boy and one man fighting with all they've got.
Arthur was certainly fighting with all he had. He didn't let up at all.
He punched again and again. With each punch, he became faster and more ferocious.
He didn't have the instantaneous acceleration of someone at the second mortal coil, but once he gets going, the full power of his body can be released to the maximum.
Unfortunately, not one punch of his hit the man after he became prepared. The man could always dodge his fist by shifting his position instantly.
The man's acceleration was too unreasonable. Even when he reached his top speed, he couldn't hit the man because he had to start and stop any time he punched. The man, on the other hand, didn't seem to have stopped. There was no downtime for him, and there was no need for him to take time to accelerate to dodge.
The man narrowed his eyes and said, "What are you?"
He had to ask because he couldn't understand what he was seeing.
Arthur clearly has the power of a second mortal coil cultivation, but he doesn't have force. This is something that is seen in beasts. Beasts have powerful bodies but little or no force.
If Arthur were a beast, this sight would be understandable. But he is clearly a human. So the man didn't understand what was going on. But one thing is clear. Now he knows why the Scarred Raven's plan, despite being executed well, didn't manage to kill this boy.
Arthur asked in return, "Who are you?"
