It is a 12.5% increase to his power. It is a significant increase, but it is one that he can handle easily. He was more concerned about his karma situation for level 4 of the Mountain Karma.
He had increased the amount of bread he brought daily from 5,000 loaves to 10,000 loaves. This increased his daily expenditure on bread from 1 gold coin to 2 gold coins. But it also increased the amount of karma he earned daily from his bread charity from 12,500 to 25,000.

He had actually wanted to increase his daily budget on bread to 5 good coins per day. That way, he will be able to earn 62,500 karma per day. But he didn't do that because it will certainly draw the attention of cultivators at the second mortal coil, and it won't be the crippled ones.
If he had spent 5 gold coins on bread every day for two years, he would have spent 3,650 gold coins in that period of time. That would surely have drawn the attention of very powerful people.

Even if no one was going to attack him for spending that much money on bread, which he gives people for free, there is also the fact that he can't afford the cost.
He earns most of his money from robbing people in the city. He liberates people at night and uses the money he earns from his heists to earn more karma during the day.
But there are only so many people he can rob before the city reaches its limit of tolerance and sends a second coil cultivator after him.

Apart from the increase in his strength, he has also increased his proficiency in his techniques. All of them have reached 90% and above it.
One of them, the savage sword weapon technique, has even reached 99%. It can go further until he gains perfect control of his power.
The breathing, movement, and fighting techniques have all reached their limit. He can still push them to 95% at most. But that will take a lot of time.
