Mountain Sitting Immortal Chapter 335

After dropping that figurative bomb shell, Thor pointed at the ball of metal parts in his hand to show the literal bomb that he was building.

Arthur's face fell when he saw this. He doesn't like it when people build bombs close to him.

So he said, "First of all, I didn't advise you to build a bomb."

Thor didn't let him list out all the reasons he had prepared to prove that Thor shouldn't build a bomb. The boy with the glittering gem like eyes interrupted Arthur quickly.

Thor shrugged and said, "That's what I got from you complaining about my golem's ability to explode."

"I thought to myself that you might have had a point. Instead of creating something that can explode by chance, I should intentionally create something that can explode. So I decided to do what you said, but better."

Arthur sighed and said, "Well, as long as the bomb explodes intentionally, everything should be fine."

Thor said, "About that?"

Arthur held his head because he felt a headache coming. He had to ask, "Please don't tell me that the bomb can explode by chance?"

Thor didn't deny it, but he defended himself. "I achieved what you wanted. I built a bomb intentionally. What I built won't become a bomb by chance. It was built to be a bomb. So this is sort of your fault."

"Secondly, your idea wasn't that good. I have to build an efficient bomb to make it a worthwhile expenditure of money and effort. It is just that the more efficient I make it, the more violent and unstable the fuel becomes. So this isn't exactly my fault."

"If anything, I am the victim here. I have to build a bomb, which I didn't want to, for your information. I have to work with something that can blow up in my face. I should sue you for damages to my mental state and physical health."

Arthur looked at Thor's grinning face and felt like hitting it. But he held back.

Instead, he said, "I hope it blows up in your face and blows that grin off your face."

Thor informed him proudly, "You will be glad to know that I can tell when this bomb is about to explode. So I can throw it away and be safe."

This was a threat. Thor was saying that he would throw the bomb to him when it was about to get out of control.

Arthur didn't speak anymore. He urged Roar to make some distance between them and Thor.

But Thor didn't let them go. He laughed and chased after Arthur.

Arthur had to shout to him and say sternly, "Stop making trouble, or I will be forced to retaliate."

Thor saw that he was serious, so he rolled his eyes and said, "Lighten up, will you?" It is just a bomb."

Arthur didn't lighten up. His eyes and expression remained stern. His blue eyes sparked with a trace of lightning.

So Thor gave up and said, "Fine. Fine. Be that way. Be boring."

Arthur snorted and returned to etching runes. Thor also returned to tinkering with his bomb. But Thor was also muttering about yield rate and how much output would be required to blow up a person at the third mortal coil.

Arthur tuned him out and focused on his work. The two of them moved in silence as they went to the teleportation house.

The teleportation house is the meeting point of everyone participating in the intersect competition. It is also the only way to enter and leave the sect.

There is a large formation barrier around the whole sect. This barrier seals the ground and the air. No one can enter the sect from underground or from the air without at least alerting the sect.

Short of breaking into the sect, the easiest way to leave is to use the teleportation house. Since the teleportation house is at the edge of the mountain range, anyone leaving the sect will have to go to the edge of the outer sect.

There is more than one teleportation house. They have an interconnected network, so they can be used to reach the same destination.

Arthur and Thor's destination is an airship platform just outside of the sect. It is where they will board the airship that will take them to the secret realm.

All of this information was on their teleportation slip. So when the two of them reached the teleportation house, they gave the attendant their permission slip.

The attendant received the permission slip, confirmed it, and then sent them away. They didn't have to say anything or do anything for them to leave because they had the permission slip.

If they didn't have the permission slip, then the very opposite would have happened. No matter what they say, they wouldn't have been able to leave the sect without the permission slip.

It is not that the sect doesn't want anyone to leave the sect. Permission slips are easy to get from the sect. But the need for a permission slip is to ensure the security of the sect by controlling who gets to leave and enter through the only access channels of the sect.

Arthur and Thor reached the teleportation house in the city just outside the sect. The distance between the teleportation house and the airship platform was short, so the two of them didn't need to take too long to reach their destination.

Actually, the teleportation house and the airship platform were on the same street. They were opposite each other too. So all Arthur and Thor needed to do was cross the wide street.

The airship platform was constructed with stone. Many airships were docked on the stone platform when the two of them arrived. Some ships were as small as one-story houses, while some other ships were as tall as ten-story houses.

The airship that Arthur and Thor were directed to was one of the large ones. It was a large ship as tall as a ten-story house, but it only had five floors.
