Mountain Sitting Immortal Chapter 504

No matter how they look at it, a power output of 220 is very far from that of 1,000. That is a difference of 5 times.

This difference only increases when Arthur's theoretical power output is compared to the strongest beast corpse, which had a power output of 3,000. It increases from 5 to 15.

Normally, every corpse will earn a base value of 10 kill points for each value of the E unit of measurement that they earn. In this case, the corpses with a power output of 10E will earn a base value of 100 killing points, while the corpses with the power output of 30E will earn a base value of 300 killing points.

This base value is then affected by the other three factors. Arthur's cultivation, being the second most important factor, is accounted for first. Find the newest release on novel·fıre·net

After Arthur's cultivation has been determined, the number of years he has spent in the sect is used to increase his theoretical power output.

The square root of the difference between his theoretical power and that of the beast he killed is then used to multiply the base value of the beast.

The square root of 5 is 2.24, while the square root of 15 is 3.87. So the value of kill points that he should earn increased from 100 to 224 and from 300 to 1,161 killing points.

If he had bullied the fire ants with a higher cultivation and power output, the base value would decrease, not increase. But if he had fought the fire ants with the same level of power as them, then he would have only earned the base value.

Next, the other two factors are used to increase or decrease this increased amount of kill points that he should earn.

Since he was a new inner sect disciple, nothing was removed from what was calculated. He was a young, inexperienced disciple, yet he was able to achieve this. If anything is to be done, it is to increase his reward, not decrease it.

So they increased his reward by the maximum allowed level of 50%. This increased the amount of kill points he should earn for the weakest fire ant from 224 to 336, while the kill points he should earn for the strongest fire ant increased from 1,161 to 1,740.

All that was left was to watch how well he fought and use their judgment of his fighting skills to increase or decrease the new estimate.

In this case, the maximum increase possible is 50%. But no decrease is possible. This is because no matter how bad his fighting skills are, the truth remains that he managed to come out victorious and kill the enemy.

So he won the fight. His reward shouldn't be decreased because of that. What is left to be determined is if he won expertly and needed to be rewarded for it.

In Arthur's case, he earned a 10% boost. This was because the way he killed the fire ants was easy and because the fire ants were weak to his lightning energy.

Actually, some of the people who watched the video of his fight thought that he shouldn't get any reward for the way he fought because he fought from a distance with a bow and because the strong defense of the fire ants was useless against him.

The only reason he earned the boost of 10% was because they saw how he killed the first fire ant. The act of shooting four arrows, then eight arrows, and then noticing the weaknesses of the fire ants and taking advantage of those weaknesses impressed the examiners.

His actions showed that he had impeccable judgment and was capable of so much more if given the opportunity. So they decided that it wasn't his fault that the fire ants had made it easy for him to kill them and gave him a 10% reward for his efforts.

This 10% boost increased his earnings from 336 and 1,740 to 369 and 1,914, respectively. It was a small boost, but it was better than nothing.

He had killed seven fire ants with various power levels. When everything was tallied, he earned a total of 9,400 killing points.

Since the minimum killing points to rank on the Killing List was 10,000 points, this reward meant that he needed just 600 killing points more to meet the quota for the year.

He didn't have to meet the requirements of the Killing List this year though. He could add up the requirements of up to ten years and meet them when he has the time.

If he still doesn't meet the requirements of those ten years combined, an investigation will be started to determine if he should be given more time or be kicked out of the inner sect.

If during this investigation, he was found to be slacking off, he would be kicked out. Such is the way of the Blood Skull sect. They don't keep weaklings around.

The conclusion of the investigation and the summary of how many kill points he earned were sent to Arthur through the ID card.

Even the tune he had left to meet the minimum requirement for killing points and a warning of what would happen if he didn't meet the minimum requirement before that deadline were also sent to him.

By the time he received the conclusion of the review, he had already begun his contribution mission. He was in the middle of inspecting formations when the notification arrived, so he didn't spend much time dwelling on it.

He read the notification and put the warning at the back of his mind. Then he resumed inspecting formations.

He was just too engrossed in his mission to care about anything else at the time. He had good reasons too. Something called a formation treasure was drawing his attention.

When he had reported for the mission, he wasn't sent to begin inspecting formations empty-handed. He had to do some things and get some tools first.
