“I only meant to sleep for a bit, did I oversleep?” Her heart thumped wildly, only continuous talking could calm her down, “I remember setting an alarm, so I shouldn’t have overslept. We haven’t had lunch yet; the porridge should be ready now. You still have some medicine left to take…”
“You’re so noisy,” he interrupted her indifferently.
Her eyes widened slightly, suddenly unsure of what to say.
She felt his presence envelop her completely, making her lose her rationality and strength little by little.
A sneeze broke the moment in an untimely fashion.
She fell silent, her head lowered, only able to see his chest.
“Get down,” Gu Annan scowled, “Don’t lie next to me.”

“I didn’t say that much.” She hurried to get up, avoiding his gaze.
She scrambled out of bed and headed to the kitchen.
The porridge was ready; she served two bowls and brought them to the table.
As she turned around, her eyes caught a blur of a ‘meat wall’, and she nearly dropped both bowls on the floor.
“Gu Annan, can you put on your clothes properly!”
She shivered as she placed the two bowls of porridge down, still not calmed down.
Just now, she had lain on the edge of the bed for a short rest, not under the covers, and she hadn’t realized that Gu Annan actually… slept naked.
It wasn’t surprising, after all, he wasn’t likely to sleep in suit pants, and there were no clothes of his size at her place.
But couldn’t the first thing he did upon getting out of bed be to put on clothes?
