After the patient was pushed into the emergency room, the nurse who didn’t go in finally looked over, “You’re the one who brought him here, right? You can leave now.”
“What about the cost?”
The nurse sized her up from head to toe, “Aren’t you just a passerby? The costs aren’t your concern. Don’t worry, if Dr. Song says he’s coming, there won’t be any issue with the costs.”
Lu Wanwan remembered the man’s face, which resembled Bai Lingyun’s, “Can I wait here for a while? I want to wait until he wakes up.”

She was certain she had saved his number.

It must have been Gu Annan who, after answering the call the last time, not only deleted the call log but also the contact from her address book.

She entered the emergency room without waiting for Lu Wanwan to say anything else.
Just then, Lu Wanwan’s phone rang. It was an unfamiliar number.
“It’s me.” Bai Lingyun’s voice came through the phone, his usually unhurried tone for the first time sounded urgent, “Where is he?”
