After finishing the meal, the atmosphere wasn’t particularly heavy, but it wasn’t very cheerful either.
Lu Wanwan glanced at Gu Annan several times on the way, her eyes full of curiosity and confusion.
Even though her appetite was poor, that didn’t justify such detailed interference.
She even had to listen to him about what fruit to eat after dinner.

Lu Wanwan, sitting by the open window, faced outside.
Great, now he was not only controlling what she should eat, but also with whom she could be friends and whether she could go shopping.

The relentless kiss continued until she finally surrendered.
"What are you doing!"
"Willing to talk now?" His lips still clung closely to hers, and with every syllable, he explored her lips repeatedly.
It tickled, and she couldn’t stand it, "Are you a control freak?"
"You said you weren’t feeling well, I was worried it might get worse." Gu Annan explained with care, tucking her loose hair behind her ear, "Let’s get it checked out tomorrow."
"There’s nothing to check, I’m just tired."
"Tired or not, you should get checked. Why are you tired if there’s nothing wrong?" He raised his eyebrows, kissed her nose, and finally pulled back, "Go and rest well."
Lu Wanwan stole a glance at him. Was he actually concerned about her?
He had mentioned making it up to her in the evening, and now he was saying to rest well, was it because he thought she was sick?
Thinking of the word ’rest,’ she finally relaxed.
Generously, she said, "Got it."
"What did you do today?"

She fell into a drowsy sleep.
She thought she hadn’t slept deeply and would wake up as soon as the car stopped.

Remembering the day before, she jumped out of the car first.

After reaching upstairs, she quickly showered, planning to fall asleep before Gu Annan came out.
However, it felt like two voices were fighting in her mind.
One said, "make it up to her tonight." The other said, "let her rest properly."
Her thoughts were all over the place, and she didn’t know which voice would win.
When she felt someone sit down on the bed, she startled awake.
Then an arm reached out and encircled her.
Her heart beating wildly, had the promise of making it up to her won?
