Gu Annan lifted his eyelids slightly and glanced in the direction Bai Lingyun had pointed.

When Zhao Chen caught up with his boarding pass, he could clearly tell that the boss’s expression had turned uglier.
But once they were on the plane, he felt he must have been seeing things, as the boss seemed the same as ever.
Lu Wanwan had just come out of the restroom and was joining the boarding line.
Her appetite had worsened lately, her meals were irregular, and she hadn’t had time to see a doctor.

"Your baby is really cute."
The baby’s mother laughed, "He likes to smile at pretty girls."
Lu Wanwan hadn’t finished speaking when another bout of retching overcame her.
After throwing up a bit, she was gasping for air.
The baby’s mother pointed to a seat beside her, "Take a rest, there’s still time. Let the others in line go ahead."
"I don’t know what’s wrong," Lu Wanwan wiped her mouth and sat down, "Maybe I ate something bad, but I don’t think I ate much this morning."
The baby’s mother handed her a bag of dried plums, "Take this and eat it later; it’s a long flight and you’re not feeling well."
"You don’t have to go through so much trouble, keep it for yourself."
"It’s fine, take it, I have plenty of snacks," the baby’s mother insisted warmly. "Throwing up is awful. If you don’t eat something appetizing, you won’t be able to eat later, and airplane meals will make you feel even more nauseous. Did you bring any medication?"
"No. I’ve been really busy lately and didn’t get a chance to see a doctor. I didn’t expect it to get worse today. I hope it gets better soon, otherwise...," she sighed deeply.
"When I was pregnant with my baby, the morning sickness was severe. I still have nightmares about it. You should get checked out early if it’s a stomach illness," the mother advised.
"Morning sickness..." her eyes drifted off for a moment.
The baby’s mother noticed her expression. "Wait, are you pregnant?"
"I doubt it... It’s probably just gastrointestinal discomfort," she replied, sounding a bit anxious.
With all the busy things happening recently, she could easily forget a moment of discomfort.
