As Gu Yunsi was staring at her, Lu Wanwan looked up and caught her eye.
But after that brief glance, she turned to leave.
"Stop right there!" Gu Yunsi took a few steps to catch up, blocking the woman who was ignoring her, "Have you no shame, seducing a man who’s engaged? My cousin is getting married soon, so if you know what’s good for you, stay away from him."
She was certain that this woman must have taken a fancy to Gu Annan at the clothing store yesterday, perhaps all because she had let slip that he was from the Gu Family.
Women who throw themselves at men are the last thing this world is lacking, in her experience.

"When did you see me seducing your cousin?" Lu Wanwan asked indifferently, looking at the young woman whose face turned green with anger, "Are you so concerned about your cousin’s private life?"
"You two sneaking around in a room together, if it’s not you seducing him, were you both there to admire the moon?" Gu Yunsi pointed at her, even more enraged.

Lu Wanwan faced her furious accusations without the slightest anger.

Also, I don’t wish for this to happen again, I hope your cousin realizes what it means to respect women, and to behave himself better in public. Otherwise, I can accuse him of sexual harassment!"
As Gu Yunsi stood there dumbfounded with rage, she watched as Lu Wanwan casually walked past her, heading towards the stairs to go down.

Outside the reception, a car pulled up at the hotel entrance.
Gu Annan sat in the car with a cold expression, while Shuman hesitated before deciding to get in as well.
When she saw that Gu Annan didn’t object, she breathed a sigh of relief.
Everyone said she was going to marry him and become his wife, but their private interactions were painfully scarce.
"Mr. Gu, aren’t we leaving?"
Zhao Chen, seated in the front, saw the driver unsure of what to do and decided to ask on his behalf.
Gu Annan stared towards the entrance and, after a moment, said, "Yunsi hasn’t come out yet."
Shuman quickly reached for her phone, "I’ll give her a call to hurry her up."
"No need," Gu Annan said coldly, "Let’s wait a bit longer."
Shuman held her phone, uncertain whether to make the call or not.
Gu Annan’s gaze through the car window fell on Lu Wanwan emerging from the entrance, followed by Director Wei.
His voice was heavy, "Didn’t you go to find that director just now?"
"Yes, he was very interested in talking, but later I couldn’t find you," she responded.
"He’s at the entrance now. Tell him to get in the car to talk," he ordered.
