Lu Wanwan listened to her and knew that she might not be able to get her way when she heard her say she didn’t place much importance on personal relationships.
Jiu Rong laughed a little and said in a very curious tone, "That last question was asked on a personal level. Working in top businesses in Manchester and collaborating with the Gu family is quite common. I had actually already asked him about your work issue."
Lu Wanwan looked up, "You asked him?"

Jiu Rong took them and looked. There were three magazines; one was from his own company, another was the personally invested "Zui Entertainment."
The articles were basically about the same thing, the rumored affair between him and Gu Annan’s ex-wife.
The illustrations and narratives were vivid, especially "Zui Entertainment," which even dredged up events from six years ago for a bit of ridicule.
After glancing through them, Jiu Rong put on a ’shocked’ expression and said, "No way, you come back and instantly get caught up in rumors, and here I thought you were past your prime and no longer the subject of attention. But you do know that I’m the President of MG, not the editor of some little magazine, how could I possibly know about this stuff. Especially this ’Zui Entertainment,’ you should know that after I used it in the early years, I let them run it independently."
