Jiu Li held the room card handed over by the waiter, looking puzzled in that direction.
It was a bit different from what he’d heard.

Lu Wanwan’s head was spinning even more. Was she still experiencing seasickness, or was it all an illusion?
She looked down at his large palm. The strength with which he held her hand was neither too light nor too heavy. Walking together , she momentarily forgot to push him away.
This natural feeling was a long-lost habit.

After regaining her senses, Lu Wanwan thought he probably didn’t want to make a scene in public, so he planned to take her into the room first and settle the scores slowly.

Lu Wanwan’s heartbeat quickened, but she quickly tried to shake off his hand, "Let go."
"Be good. Otherwise, I’ll stay in your room. Especially since I don’t have a room card right now," he held tight.
It appeared that being too lenient with her wasn’t working, as it inadvertently attracted those unaware of danger.
"Gu Annan, do you realize that your actions are those of a scoundrel!" she gritted her teeth.
To actually use staying in her room as a threat, that was her room, the kind registered under only one person’s ID!
"Since I’m already acting like a scoundrel, might as well go all out. Which room in this floor do you want to sleep in?"
Lu Wanwan quickly stepped back, even though her hand was caught, she still maintained some distance from him.
The Frenchman behind, though not understanding their conversation, seemed to realize that the gentleman perhaps wasn’t considering the lady’s personal wishes.
"Hey, sir, please respect this lady," the helpful Frenchman interjected.
