"So that’s how it is." Lu Wanwan’s tone was still that cold indifference, but she felt like applauding as the director’s movie was canceled, feeling not the slightest sympathy, "Then I wish your future films will regain their glory. I need to go now, goodbye."
Wei Cheng did not stop her, merely watching her walk towards the main door.

A sinister smile played on Wei Cheng’s face as he quickly followed.
After exiting the main door, Lu Wanwan immediately avoided the fiercely contested area by the female star, turning at the corner to the side road to hail a taxi.
Due to the film festival, the main road outside the front door was blocked.
Attendees typically had chauffeured cars, so there was no trace of taxis.
This was the only section near the auditorium where taxis might pass.
Lu Wanwan waited for a while, but saw no vehicles pass.
She took out her phone, intending to search on the map, thinking she should perhaps walk further to hail a car.
"Miss Lu, leaving so soon?"
When Wei Cheng’s voice emerged from behind her again, Lu Wanwan swiftly turned around, stepped back two steps, and put away her phone.
Her warning gaze fixed on him, Wei Cheng shouldn’t cause trouble here.
Not far away was the film festival, crowded with reporters and guests, many who could recognize him.
He wouldn’t likely do something irrational, causing a major scandal.
But, the strong smell of alcohol on him kept assaulting her nostrils.
If he had drunk too much, he might not have much rationality left.
"Director Wei, is there anything else you need?"
"Last time I was blind, not realizing Miss Lu was Mr. Gu’s ex-wife." Wei Cheng spoke with a smile, stepping closer to her, "I’m really curious about the reason for Miss Lu’s divorce. Was it because Mr. Gu was too boring, or because... he simply couldn’t cut it? So Miss Lu, even after marriage, couldn’t let go and sought other men?"
