"So... heading back?" Lu Wanwan finally squeezed out a sentence after a long time.
Hearing her voice, Gu Annan had already regained his composure.
He nodded, "Let’s go back first, we’ll come back tonight."
The turmoil inside Lu Wanwan’s heart grew, especially upon seeing Gu Annan’s nonchalant demeanor.
Was she such a failure as a person to feel guilty so easily?

He glanced at it and then hung up directly.
As the two of them returned from the rooftop and prepared to enter the elevator, the phone rang again, and he simply hung up once more.
"Why don’t you answer it?"
Gu Annan stepped into the elevator and pressed the floor number, "It’s not important."
This urgency and yet he wouldn’t take the call... this discovery made her even more anxious.
"Your company is always busy; you should answer it."
"I don’t want to answer. It’s... a journalist trying to get in touch, I’ll have my assistant handle it."
Once they reached their floor, the two got out of the elevator, and her heartbeat was racing all the way.
As she took out her keycard, Lu Wanwan stopped in front of her room door.

Lu Wanwan, holding her keycard, saw him swiftly opening the door to the adjacent room and entering.

Even though things had gone her way, there was an unhappy feeling in her heart.
Lu Wanwan immediately swiped her keycard and shut the door with annoyance.
