Gu Annan leaned lazily against the door, looking down at her, waiting for an answer.
How ironic it was that no matter how much she tried, she couldn’t escape this fact, which made Lu Wanwan feel incredibly frustrated.

Lu Wanwan looked at him in surprise, still seeing the tension on his handsome face.
"What do you mean?" he arched an eyebrow, "You don’t want to get my clothes? Want me to come out naked?"
"Couldn’t you just..." Go back to your own room to shower!
"No!" Gu Annan declared, his dark eyes fixed on her, "Otherwise, shall we continue?"
"I’ll go get your clothes," she said, avoiding his gaze that felt as though it could melt her.
Before opening the door, she heard his voice from behind, still sounding so close.
"You’re not willing, and I won’t force you. I’m sorry for what happened in the past."
Lu Wanwan’s heart warmed, especially at his last remark.
Her fingers on the doorknob trembled slightly.
He was referring to that time before she left, his coercion.
So, had he actually been regretting and feeling guilty all this time?
"Hmm..." She hummed vaguely in response.
Yes, it was from that incident she began to find all his acts of intimacy unacceptable.
She quickly twisted the doorknob and ran out the door.
