“I simply had someone cancel the interview, I didn’t intend for you to go to the studio. Some misunderstandings occurred, it was our side’s mistake,” Xiao Ye’s voice was particularly low-pitched, polite yet that sense of aloof superiority was especially evident.
“Since it was a misunderstanding, let it be, thankfully nothing happened.” Lu Wanwan was somewhat surprised, he had actually come specifically to apologize for this?
“But regarding what occurred inside,” Xiao Ye shifted his tone yet kept the same attitude, “I hope it doesn’t get disclosed.”
“Mr. Xiao, what incidents are you referring to?” she asked interestingly.
So, the apology was merely because she had witnessed an unsuitable side of their company.
“Everything,” Xiao Ye’s lips moved slightly as he articulated every word, “whether it involves you or others. I do not wish to see it in any media.”
“Mr. Xiao, I recorded audio, not video. Rest assured, even if such matters from your company were exposed, it won’t be through me. However, having a talent like Mr. Xiao in your company, I foresee troubles eventually.” she said.
“Thank you,” Xiao Ye’s eyes moved slightly, slightly surprised.
Initially, he could have threatened her once he confirmed this woman’s identity.
After all, exposing these disgraceful incidents would be nothing but detrimental to her as well.

She was about to struggle, but found that if she moved slightly, his arm would tighten covertly.

“Running so far, almost couldn’t find you.” Gu Annan looked down, glancing over her lightly.
In Lu Wanwan’s view, that look was an outright threat.
She surrendered and remained completely still.
“Let me introduce, this is Xiao Ye, Mr. Xiao, whom you failed to interview last time,” Gu Annan said, holding her, his voice unhurried and his demeanor coldly aristocratic.
“Mr. Xiao, nice to meet you,” Lu Wanwan said immediately.
Xiao Ye’s expression did not change, he merely nodded, “It’s rare to see Mr. Gu bring someone along.”
Before Lu Wanwan could explain that she wasn’t brought by him, she already heard Gu Annan’s voice, “Indeed. After all, she is Mrs. Gu.”
