Shi Qiang frowned at Boss Feng, who seemed to be so shocked by her information, "Sir, it is just a simple private lunch meeting with Mr Jiang Jinxing from Jiang Group. I don't think you will be signing a billion-dollar contract with him anytime soon. Why are you so nervous?"
Feng Xiaojun took out his handkerchief and wiped the cold sweat on his forehead, "Well, you see, when he told me that he had a girlfriend, I was so heartbroken. It was heartbreaking that I cut all my contact with him and blocked his number. I also blocked Whatsapp, Weibo, Line, literally everything.
" Is this because you got heartbroken?"
"Yes!"
"Sir, I know this will offend you but screw it," Shi Qiang slammed her documents on Xiaojun's desk and raised her voice towards Xiaojun, "WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT? JIANG JINXING IS AN IMPORTANT PARTNER FOR YOUR FENG GROUP!"
Xiaojun took the document and covered his head with it, "Wuwuwu, I'm so sorryyy. I was so embarrassed and heartbroken! I just want to be a bit dramatic!"
Shi Qiang sighed as she sat on the guest chair, facing Xiaojun's chair, "Sir, this is clearly immature and unprofessional behaviour. You should not mix your feeling with work," Shi Qiang scolded like a big sister scolding her naughty little brother.
"I know I just don't know how to explain it to Jinxing," Xiaojun said, "Maybe I should just say that I've changed phone number?"
"That won't work, Sir. Because I said that your number hasn't changed," Shi Qiang replied curtly.
"Secretary Shi! Why have you forsaken me?! Aaaaaahh!" Xiaojun ruffled his permed hair, "Where is the location for our private lunch?" Xiaojun asked.
"He didn't tell. He just said that his car will wait on time," Shi Qiang replied. She sighed and added, "Sir, just said that there is an unspeakable reason why you can't contact him. But it's all good now."
Xiaojun's worried eyes darted at Shi Qiang instantly, and he felt as if he saw an oasis in the middle of a harsh desert, "SSecretary Shi! That's genius! I will not out myself with that, and everything will be well again!"
Xiaojun wanted to hug Shi Qiang, but Shi Qiang dodged and said, "I'm sorry, sir, but I do not kiss a man that will never be my romantic interest."
Though Shi Qiang refused the hug, Xiaojun still awarded her by writing her a cheque worth half of her monthly wage, "Secretary Shi, this is for" Shi Qiang snatched it from Xiaojun's hand and said;
"Yes, Sir! Thank you so much!" Shi Qiang said as the rare smile finally bloomed on her.

Feng Xiaojun was pacing around his desk anxiously. He kept looking on his watch and asked Secretary Shi whether Jinxing had arrived. Surprisingly, Shi Qiang told Xiaojun that Jiang Jinxing already parked his car in the lobby, waiting for him to come.
Xiaojun gulped and said to Secretary Shi, "Secretary Shi if I die in this war, cremate me and all my BL collection. So I can still read BL in the afterlife."
Shi Qiang rolled her eyes, 'So dramatic.'
Xiaojun strode stiffly into the lobby. He saw Jinxing was standing in the lobby wearing a blue suit. His sunny face that Xiaojun loved so much and that box smile still stunned Xiaojun to the core.
'Ah this is bad for my heart. Jinxing's appearance is totally my type' Xiaojun thought. He finally stopped in front of Jinxing and bowed his head, "Mr Jiang Jinxing is here. I'm sorry to make you wait."
Jinxing shook his head and maintained his box smile, "Not at all! Mr Feng is too polite. This is just a private lunch for us!"
Everyone in the lobby acted as if they didn't see the handsome Mr Feng and the sunny Mr Jiang, but in fact, their ears were eavesdropping on everything.
Xiaojun blushed at Jinxing's frankness. He grabbed Jinxing's hand to leave the lobby. Jinxing giggled as they entered the car and drove through the afternoon traffic. Xiaojun glanced at Jinxing, who was smiling from the moment they met again up until now, "Mr Jiang, where do you want to take me for lunch? Is there something important that you need? You should discuss it in a formal meeting if you stumble upon a problem in our business."
Jinxing shook his head and replied, "Everything is good, our business is good, just one thing"
The car stopped when it's red light, and Jinxing turned his head to Xiaojun, who got nervous instantly. Xiaojun lowered his head out of nervousness when Jinxing asked, "Xiao-Ge, why can't I contact you after we visit that cat caf? Are you angry with me for something?"
Xiaojun's heart paused for a second when Jinxing called him Xiao-Ge. He wanted to make it not so personal between them. But Xiaojun felt uncomfortable because he knew that Jinxing was not gay. Calling him endearingly only made his heart wavered.
Especially with that deadly box smile.
"WWell Mr Jiang"
"Call me Xingan," Jinxing said. His tone was demanding, and it made Xiaojun deflated in shame instantly, "My small name is Xingan. Xiao-Ge, I want to know you better please call me Xingan, okay?"
Xiaojun raised his head slowly and saw Jinxing pouted at him cutely.
