"Zhu'er?"
Xiaojun and Sun Zhu stared at each other dumbfoundedly. Because they had an eerily similar style. As if both of them were trying to hide their real identity. Both Sun Zhu and Xiaojun had the same train of thought in their head. 'Wait, he has a black cap, black mask, black hoodie, jeans, and sneaker'
'He is not trying to disguise himself as a normal person, right?' They thought.
They were in this awkward stare for a while, silently trying to pry on each other's identity. 'Zhu'er is not an actor, right? I feel like even his perfectly symmetrical eyes belong to the entertainment circle. Did he lie to me?' Xiaojun thought.
'XiaoXiao is not a rich second generation, right? His charisma and peach blossom eyes tell me that he is not a regular office worker. More like a CEO or something. Did XiaoXiao lie to me?' After staring for a while, Sun Zhu noticed something in XiaoXiao's eyes. Under his right eye, a cute beauty mark made XiaoXiao's eyes even more captivating.
But he felt familiar as if he had seen an extremely handsome man with a beauty mark under his right eye
'No, that cannot be him. That should not be him'
Meanwhile, Xiaojun felt that Zhu'er had a familiar gaze. They seemed to have met recently, very recently. But he was not sure which person had a perfectly symmetrical face that he knew of.
'No, that cannot be that guy. That guy is a movie emperor'
Xiaojun snapped out of his daze first and lowered his gaze embarrassedly. "Zhu'er, please sit," Xiaojun said. Then he just realized that his tone was like a CEO telling his guest to sit and talk about business.
"Yes," Sun Zhu replied. He sat and immediately crossed his leg elegantly, like a movie emperor in an interview. Sun Zhu realized his gesture and immediately sat straight.
Both of them were nervous because they were afraid that they would get discovered.
They sat, and the awkward silence permeated the atmosphere around them.
Sun Zhu was nervous because this wasn't like the regular idol-fan date, where he could just act nice and smile at his fan date. This was the real thing. He currently went on a date with XiaoXiao.
And Sun Zhu never went on an actual date.
Sun Zhu tried hard to find a good thing to say. His eyes observed around then realized that he was in a fast-food restaurant. He was so nervous that he forgot they were supposed to have lunch first before going somewhere.
"XXiaoXiao, do you want to eat something?" Sun Zhu asked nervously.
"Yes, I can eat anything you order" Xiaojun replied.
"Good, uhm do you want to order now?" Sun Zhu asked again.
"Sure" Xiaojun replied again.
Another silence between them permeated in the air again. Both of them had a sudden realization, a realization that they were not the all-knowing god in this harsh world.
'How do I order in a fast-food restaurant? Should we call the waiter or let them serve us first? Where is my welcome drink?' they thought at the same time.
"Zhu'er, do you want to order now?" Xiaojun asked.
"Ah, XiaoXiao, you can order now. I don't know which food you like. I might order the wrong one if it's me," Sun Zhu dodged. He didn't want to get discovered just because he didn't know how to order.
"I also don't know which food you will order" Xiaojun also dodged the responsibility with the same weapon.
They stared at each other and in the end they decided to just order the food together.
They saw people near the counter already queueing, so they followed the crowd and joined the queue.
Xiaojun was reading the menu and the price on the display. He was surprised because everything was so cheap. 'A fried chicken for 15 yuan? Hamburger for 12 yuan? And fries for 7 yuan?! What the heck? Why is it so cheap? Am I being scammed here?!'
Sun Zhu read the same menu and thought the same thing, 'One set of meal for 40 Yuan?! Is this real food?'
"XiaoXiao, do you eat fast food often?" Sun Zhu asked, trying to find whether he was dreaming or not. Because that was way too cheap.
"YYes! I eat fast food often. You know, um office worker stuff. I'm so busy in the office and so broke, so I can only afford to eat here," Xiaojun lied. "How about you, Zhu'er?"
"Same. I'm uh just a regular cameraman. I don't have money, so I eat here often," Sun Zhu also lied.
'Perfect! So this is the correct price for fast food!' Sun Zhu and Xiaojun thought at the same time.
When their time comes, Sun Zhu and Xiaojun walked to the counter, and the server asked for their order. Sun Zhu was ready with the script inside his head, he said while pointing at the nicest looking meal combo. "That one."
KFC Cashier: Okay, and how about you, Sir?
Afraid to get discovered, he also pointed at the same meal combo. "That one also."
KFC Cashier: Two happy meal with Spongebob toys, the total is 140 Yuan.
Other costumer glanced at Xiaojun and Sun Zhu, two tall good looking men, wearing all black, but ordering kids meal.
Xiaojun and Sun Zhu didn't seem to be bothered, though, because they thought it was normal. Besides, they got Spongebob and Patrick toys.
Xiaojun and Sun Zhu brought their happy meal to their table and stared at each other. Both of them still had their mask on.
How do I eat this without showing my face?
