Chapter 51: Love is War!
"Handsome Brother"
Feng Xiaojun realized the owner of this voice. He immediately pulled his hand off Jinxing's and then got up from the bench awkwardly.
"A-Ah, Liling, how is your date with that boy? Is it good? Do you need anything? I will help you," Xiaojun rambled as he tried to get out of this awkward situation. But it didn't seem to be convincing enough for Long Liling.
She stared at her Handsome Brother and future second father, Feng Xiaojun, with a complicated gaze. Then she just shook her head with a thin smile on her face, "I had fun, but I feel tired. Can we return now?"
Feng Xiaojun held his breath. He knew he had nothing to hide from Liling since he wasn't in a relationship with Long Shan. But at the same time, he also felt guilty because Liling saw him with Jinxing like this.
And she still acted as if nothing happened.
"OOkay then," Feng Xiaojun looked at Jinxing and then said, "Xing'an, I will leave now. Thank you for the treat," Xiaojun said.
"Xiao-Ge, but" Jinxing wanted to say something, but Xiao-Ge just walked away and just left him alone. He looked lost as he kept staring at his Xiao-Ge's back.
Feng Xiaojun looked over his shoulder. When he saw the lost expression on Jinxing's face, he knew that Jinxing must've felt a bit defeated after the warmth they shared together suddenly dispersed just because of Liling.
Meanwhile, Long Liling had been thinking about what she saw just now. She just realized how popular Handsome Brother was and that her father wasn't the only romantic interest for Handsome Brother.
He was Feng Xiaojun, the handsome and cold CEO, popular in magazines. Although he always refused TV interviews, probably to make himself less recognizable.
Long Liling thought it wouldn't be too difficult for her father to get Feng Xiaojun's heart, but it seemed that she had underestimated Handsome Brother and all his admirers.
Now she felt pity for her father. Although she was only sixteen, she knew well what was inside her father's mind. He would never treat someone else this gentle except for people he loved, and Xiaojun was the first person for he to fall in love with.
'As a good daughter, I should help him somehow. Handsome Brother doesn't seem to be in a relationship with that guy. Okay, Liling, this is for your father. Think of a way for them to spend quality time together!"
'This is war! Love is war! And I'm my dad's accomplice! I shall fight!' Long Liling was ignited, thinking how happy her father was when he was around Handsome Brother.
Liling and Xiaojun entered the car. Xiaojun frowned with Liling's sudden seriousness as if she was thinking about something serious in her head.
"Liling, are you alright?" Xiaojun asked worriedly. He was also worried that Liling might've had the wrong idea in her head about him and Jinxing.
"DDon't think too much about Xing'anI mean, Jiang Jinxing. He is my business acquaintance and friend. He is just a bit weird haha."
Somehow, calling Jinxing, his 'friend' gave Xiaojun a bit of guilt in his heart. Although it was the truth, they were not dating. Xiaojun hadn't dated anyone, and Jinxing was still his friend and business acquaintance nonetheless.
Long Liling decided not to talk about that man, Jiang Jinxing and shifted the topic instead.
"Ah, Handsome Brother, my dad told you before about spending quality time together, right?"
"Ah" Xiaojun recalled what Long Shan said before. He said they would spend family time together as three somewhere, but he didn't expect it to be true.
"Okay then, where will we go next?"
"Hm? Why do you ask me? You're the older one here. Go call him!" Liling ordered.
Xiaojun frowned, "I don't have his number. You can call him."
Liling then smiled thin and replied, "I will give you his number. You should be the one who calls him and ask where the date should go. You know, like a good wife, Hehe~"
Feng Xiaojun's cheek reddened, but he brushed it off and took his phone immediately, "FFine, just give me his number."
After Liling gave her dad's number, Xiaojun called Long Shan. In just the second beep, Long Shan picked up the call immediately.
"YYes, wifeI mean, Moon RabbitII mean Xiaojun," Long Shan stuttered, probably because it was the first time Xiaojun called him.
"DDid something happen? Do you need me to send my men? Wait, I can call them right now! I can call the police force as well! Hang on!"
The edge of Xiaojun's lips twitched when he heard how flustered and shocked Long Shan was because Xiaojun called him out of nowhere. With a thin smile on his face, Xiaojun replied, "There's nothing wrong. Liling just asked me to call you. You know you said before that we will meet somewhere as three for a family quality time together."
"Ah"

There was a long pause between Long Shan and Xiaojun as Xiaojun waited for Long Shan to speak.
"Long Shan?"
"AAh, yes, I'm sorry. You sound so good on the phone. I actually got dazed for a moment." Long Shan confessed.
"BBe serious for a second, will you!" Xiaojun yelled.
Long Shan cleared his throat and then said, "Okay, it's near dusk. We should go somewhere for dinner. Go and tell Liling that we will eat in the Imperial Heaven Restaurant. I will prepare myself and go there immediately."
"Okay."

"Are you satisfied now?" Xiaojun asked Liling, who had a wide grin on her face.
Liling giggled and nodded, "Well, it's just it has been a while since I ate with my dad. Because it's so rare for him to be in a good mood whenever we are together. He always put some pressure on me because he doesn't want me to be 'wild fighter' like him."
"I hope with you here, he can relax, and we can have a real quality time together... Handsome dad or mom, whatever."
Long Liling winked at Xiaojun and continued giggling happily.
