"I guess you’re the only one who thinks so." Xu Mohan always knew his temper wasn’t good; he simply couldn’t share a room with others. Frankly, living with her and her daughter for so long and still getting along so well - he hadn’t expected that.
The meal took over half an hour. When it ended, Nan Yuesheng was a bit drunk, but only slightly, not so much that she couldn’t clean up the dining table and wash the dishes.
She left some food for Nan Ningyi to eat when she woke up.
Xu Mohan sat in the courtyard drinking tea. She walked over, sat down facing him, and lay her head on the table, her gaze resting on his face, his eyebrows and eyes sharp, a face so perfect it was beyond criticism.
Nan Yuesheng closed her eyes.
She sat up straight again and poured herself a cup of tea, downing it in one gulp.
