"Are you close with him?"
"Good friends." Gu Xichen smiled lightly upon seeing her gaze fixed on Ye Yan, "Think he’s handsome?"
"Definitely handsome." She turned her head, "But I’m not looking at his face, I’m looking at the woman in red next to him."
Just as Gu Xichen was about to say something, he frowned suddenly, because the two women around Ye Yan were wearing blue and beige, no one was in red...
Lili grinned and said, "Right."
"What does she look like..."
"Get some paper and a pen, and I’ll draw her for you."
Gu Xichen hurried to oblige, and quickly brought paper and pen.
Watching her head down and drawing quickly with the pen, Gu Xichen remarked, "My mom really taught you everything, even drawing so well."
"You just never bothered to truly understand my knowledge, so you rushed to judgment, assuming there was a huge gap between your knowledge and mine. Have you ever considered, my master is a graduate from a prestigious university? She raised me like her own daughter, would she neglect me and let me become an illiterate? Sure, I don’t have a diploma or a degree, but what I’ve learned is firmly etched in my mind. Master only has a casual interest in drawing, she occasionally paints and would teach me too."
As she finished speaking, the sketch of a woman was also completed, which she drew in a relatively normal way, not depicting the true appearance of the deceased.
When Gu Xichen saw the drawing, he felt a chill run down his spine, and his heartbeat intensified.
"How does this... look so much like her mother... her mother died by hanging herself..."
"Call him over to take a look."

Despite being wary of the deceased, Gu Xichen still called Ye Yan over.
When he approached, Lili stood up with the drawing in hand.
"Could you please see if you recognize this person?" She handed it to him.

"By your side." As she said this, her gaze shifted to the space to the right of Ye Yan, where a long-haired woman in red was standing, her face was pale, her eyes rolled back, her tongue sticking out, looking eerie and terrifying.
Ye Yan’s face was filled with terror, and he stiffened, "You’re saying my mom is standing by my side?"
"Correct." Lili nodded slightly towards his side, "Hello, aunt."
The next second the woman stood in front of her, her face close, and Lili, fearless, said, "Aunt, you can’t scare me. I’ve seen far too many ghosts since I was young, so now, please stay at least a meter away from me, okay?"
The woman beckoned to her, signaling her to chat alone elsewhere, and Lili nodded, "Okay, I’ll be right there."
After speaking, she told Ye Yan and Gu Xichen, "She wants to talk to me alone. You two wait here, I will be back soon."
Ye Yan looked at her retreating figure with an anxious expression, sat next to Gu Xichen, his hands trembling nonstop, devoid of any previous joy of coming to play basketball.
"Ye Yan, are you going to continue playing or not?" The woman in the blue dress came over to ask.
"No, let’s call it a day."
And so, there were only him and Gu Xichen left in silence, waiting for Gu Lili to return.
