Chantelle already knew about what happened between Ruby and Brian, but she didn’t expect Ruby to escape from James so fast and run back to Brian.
Brian was never the faithful type. He had plenty of women around him. After all this time, he should’ve forgotten about Ruby. So why would he risk upsetting Daniel just to take her back?
Chantelle glanced at Daniel beside her. His face was red, sweat was dripping from his forehead, and his eyes were full of desire as he looked at her.
The drug must have been strong. Daniel had only been in that room for less than two minutes, yet he was already . If it had been someone with weak self-control, they might not have resisted Camille.
Earlier, Chantelle had been worried that Kane and Stephanie might get involved, so she took them to another room. But before she could even open the door, she heard someone breathing heavily inside. She quickly told Calvin to take the kids away.
Just as Chantelle was about to kick the door open, it swung open on its own. Daniel came out walking wobbly. He grabbed Chantelle and hurried away.
Camille rushed over and grabbed Daniel’s arm without planning to let him go.
When Ashton arrived, Chantelle didn’t want to get involved in the chaos. She also didn’t want the kids to see what was happening. So she pulled away from Daniel and left on her own.
Meanwhile, Daniel shoved Camille aside, clearly annoyed. She almost fell, but Ashton caught her in time. Daniel didn’t even look back and he just followed quickly into Chantelle’s car.
"Send me the surveillance footage from the fashion show," Chantelle said, thinking that Daniel must’ve been drugged by Ruby by mistake.
After all, no matter how reckless Camille was, she wouldn’t dare drug Daniel in a place where Chantelle and his bodyguards were around.
She had already failed once so why would she risk doing it again? Did she really think Daniel was that naive?
While Calvin told his men to send the surveillance footage to Chantelle, Daniel secretly reached out and touched the back of her neck. She was startled and quickly slapped his hand away.
Daniel pulled his hand back, looking hurt, then leaned against her.
"Mr. Wilson, do you want me to find a club where you can cool off?"
Daniel didn’t respond. He just buried his face against her chest, like a clingy dog.
Chantelle was wearing a strapless dress that day, but it had gotten messy from Daniel constantly rubbing against her. The skin near her collarbone had already turned red.
When she saw Brian’s car heading toward the Morgan family’s villa, she figured there was no point in following anymore. She was about to tell Calvin to drive back to Silver Crest Global District when Daniel suddenly turned, pressed against her, and kissed her.
Chantelle could feel that he was holding back, trying to be gentle despite the desire in him.
But the moment she lost focus, Daniel’s movements became faster. He acted like a wild beast, completely overtaken by desire.
"Let go!" Chantelle yelled, struggling to push him away. But Daniel’s body felt heavy like a mountain. No matter how hard she fought, she couldn’t escape from him.

"Ms. Chantelle..." Calvin spoke up, unsure if she needed help.
Chantelle clenched her teeth and reached under the seat, opening a hidden compartment. She pulled out a syringe and a small bottle of liquid.
As she filled the syringe, Daniel had already unzipped her dress. His large hand slipped inside.
But just two seconds later, everything went completely still.
Chantelle panted as she adjusted Daniel’s position, helping him sit properly beside her. While she did that, Calvin was already driving toward Silver Crest Global District.
Chantelle knew how strong the tranquilizer was. She was worried it might cause side effects, so she told Calvin to drive faster.
Once she calmed down, she opened the surveillance footage from the fashion show.
After watching it, she saw that Ruby had indeed prepared the drug for Brian. Ruby probably didn’t want to be seen by Chantelle or Daniel, so she disguised herself as a janitor to sneak in.
After Ruby sneaked in, she quickly saw Brian. But he had a supermodel with him, the one he had been chasing lately. He had no interest in Ruby, especially with her dressed like a janitor. Without even looking at her properly, he pulled out a wad of cash and threw it at her. It was a clear humiliation, but Ruby swallowed her pride and didn’t react.
Ruby then went into the room where Daniel and Chantelle had been earlier. She probably lit some kind of aphrodisiac incense in there.
But when Brian showed up, the supermodel dragged him away. So Ruby had no choice but to go somewhere else to drug him.
Chantelle never believed that Daniel would team up with Camille to do something behind her back. Now that she knew what really happened, she looked at Daniel with a bit of pity.
Who would’ve thought that the proud Mr. Wilson would end up being the one tricked?
Aside from that, Chantelle also noticed something strange between Railer and Roman.
When Chantelle saw Roman happily walking out of Railer’s room, she couldn’t help but call Ashton. She told him to keep an eye on Railer, especially whenever Roman was around.
"My dear Mommy, how could you leave your adorable son behind and go on a date with Daddy?" Kane’s message popped up on Chantelle’s phone, followed by an angry emoji.
"Well, you’re a big boy now. I’m sure you can take care of Stephanie and Rai."
A little flattery always does the trick.
Just like that, Kane beamed proudly.
Stephanie then sent a speechless emoji. "Mommy is tricking innocent kids."
"Who’s innocent?" Kane fired back right away.
"I’m talking about you. Got a problem with that?" Stephanie replied with a threatening emoji.
Kane gave up instantly. "I wouldn’t dare. This innocent one is off to pick up my brother and bring him home! Bye!"
After Kane and Stephanie interrupted her, some of Chantelle’s worry faded. But the moment she saw Philip on the 87th floor of Silver Crest Global District, her anxiety came rushing back.
"Oh! I was gone for just a bit! What happened to Daniel?!" Philip shouted dramatically.
Chantelle held back from smacking him. He had dressed up just to support her at the show, after all.
"Daniel was probably hit with a strong aphrodisiac. I gave him a sedative earlier. Please help him get checked."
She hadn’t seen Daniel clearly in the car, but now under the lights, she noticed he was covered in sweat and looked pale.
