A sedan pulled up beside her, and the window on the passenger’s side rolled down, revealing a girl sticking her head out.
"Sister Titus, do you want a lift?"
Titus Zane looked puzzled at the girl, feeling that she seemed familiar but couldn’t recall where she had seen her before.
Just as she was trying hard to remember, a familiar face entered her line of sight from the driver’s seat.
Logan Ray was holding the steering wheel, his face expressionless, eyes fixed ahead.
Titus Zane’s heart tightened, feeling as if it was being tightly grasped, and her breath momentarily halted.
Titus Zane finally remembered that this girl was the one who had called her to pick someone up at the bar that day.
Titus’s gaze moved past Ava Charles and settled on Logan Ray’s face, as if forgetting Ava’s existence.
Ava Charles raised her voice slightly.
Titus came back to her senses and tried to curve her lips, "No need, thank you."
After speaking, she nodded towards Ava Charles, and before turning away, Titus couldn’t help but glance towards the driver’s seat again, striding forward to a temporary parking spot, waving at an approaching taxi.
The sedan carrying Ava Charles quickly passed by Titus, with Ava holding onto the car window, watching the lonely figure still waving for a taxi, then turned her face away.
"Big brother Logan, are we really leaving Sister Titus there alone?"
With his eyes on the road ahead, his face expressionless, his hand on the steering wheel unconsciously tightened.
"It’s going to rain soon," Ava Charles looked back once more, beside the road, Titus still waving at the street continuously.
The blue sky was quickly covered by dark clouds, a big drop of water fell onto the windshield—it had started to rain.
Ava Charles kept twisting her neck to look back, the constantly gloomy and silent Logan suddenly swung the steering wheel, the off-white sedan taking a sharp turn back the way it came.
The rain fell heavily, Titus raised her bag over her head and prepared to run to a nearby bank for shelter.
A black Bentley stopped by the roadside, the passenger’s window rolled down, and a cold, serious voice emerged.
That familiar voice, Titus lifted her bag, instinctively turning around.
Nathan Moore’s handsome face came into view, looking at her, as expressionless as ever.
"Do you want to be drenched like a drowned rat?" Seeing Titus standing still, Nathan’s displeased voice rang out again.
Titus instinctively lifted her legs and ran towards the Bentley, reaching to pull the rear car door when Nathan’s voice rang out again.
Staring at the car door, dumbfounded, looking at Nathan Moore.
"I told you to sit in the front, don’t make me say it three times."
Closing the back door, Titus pulled open the passenger’s door and got in.
This was the first time she was sitting in this position, as Nathan usually had her sit in the back.
The black Bentley and the off-white Cayenne brushed past each other, the two men driving exhibiting different expressions.
Nathan Moore was expressionless as ever, while Logan Ray, handsome and elegant, was filled with anger and unwillingness.
Seeing the Bentley parked by the road, he had already sped up, but in the end, he still missed her.
The white Cayenne braked urgently, parking on the roadside.
Ava withdrew her gaze and looked at Logan, who had an aggrieved expression, asking cautiously.

"No need!" Logan Ray said defiantly, the white Cayenne lunged forward, speeding into the storm, quickly disappearing.
