Nathan Moore’s lips pressed directly towards Titus Zane, but at the last moment, he missed the glistening lips and slid sideways, nestling near Titus’s ear and spoke in a low and magnetic voice.
"You’re drunk. Let’s go back."
Titus pushed away the tickling sensation near her ear, looking visibly impatient through her blurred eyes.
"I won’t go back. I want to die drunk right here..."
In her drunken stupor, Titus mumbled incoherently, struggling restlessly in Nathan’s arms as her brows furrowed impatiently, "I don’t want to go back... I can’t sleep, I lie awake every night until dawn... I don’t want to go back... Can’t sleep..."
Titus’s slightly pouted full lips expressed her dilemma, almost like a grievance, as Director Moore leaned his handsome face in again, coaxing her patiently by her ear.
"Be good, I’ll stay with you, and you’ll be able to sleep. Let’s go home, okay?"
"Not okay, I don’t want to go back..." Turning around, Titus threw herself into Nathan’s embrace, her slender arms tightly hooking around his neck, burying her face on his shoulder and rubbing it aggrievedly.
Nathan Moore cursed under his breath, their clothing being thin, he could clearly feel the softness pressing against his chest through the light fabric.
The sensual Adam’s apple unconsciously slid up and down again. Nathan knew already, she was full-figured; that pair, he could never completely grasp in his hands.
In the past, he even wondered, why - Olivia Zane despite being sisters with Titus - had a different personality, appearance, even body type not resembling Titus at all!
Olivia’s figure could only be described as mature, that small mound just like her, delicate and exquisite.
Whereas Titus was voluptuous under the flowing cloth, with a full figure, both perky and curvy, a seductive physique that was unmistakable.
Nathan Moore admitted that he used to be jealous of Titus, and felt it was unfair to Olivia.
Both daughters of the Zane Family, why did she inherit such excellent genes while Olivia only inherited a small portion...?
Feeling Nathan’s large hand trapped under her armpit, his thumb even accidentally brushed against her softness.
Buried in Nathan’s shoulder, Titus complained unhappily.
"Nathan Moore, you’re taking advantage of me..."
The expression on his handsome face seemed slightly helpless. This woman, was she really drunk or pretending to be drunk? She was utterly intoxicated, yet she still recognized him.
Impatiently, Titus said, "Move your hand, it’s uncomfortable..."
"Alright, I’ll move it. Shall we go home now?" Nathan tried to coax her yet again with good temper. Titus lifted her head, frowning as if contemplating something.
Just as Nathan was about to continue his comforting words, he saw Titus laugh with a ’hehe’ and say.
"You forgot, I’ve been disowned by the Zane Family in the newspapers, hehe... I’m no longer a child of the Zane family... there’s no home to speak of, hehe..."
Titus laughed heartlessly, but Nathan’s heart was tightening bit by bit.
He could see the helplessness behind Titus’s smile, and even more so the concealed bitterness. In the past, he did not understand her, nor did he want to. But now, without even trying, he knew this woman always masked herself with indifference, in order not to expose her sorrow to everyone.
His heart ached fiercely, and Nathan held Titus tightly, whispering into her ear, "You do have a home, our home..."
For some reason, when these words escaped his lips, Nathan felt a sourness welling up in his eyes.
His lips moved closer again, whispering softly, "Shall we go back to our home?"
