Watching Titus Zane walk unsteadily, clearly worried, Nathan Moore didn’t get up.
As she moved through the dancing crowd, when a man tried to hit on her, she paused briefly, smiled at him, said something, and then walked away. The man turned and whistled loudly at her retreating figure, then watched her, his face showing fascination.
Putting down his glass, Nathan Moore rose as well.
In front of the club, Titus Zane caught a taxi and reported the hotel’s name; the green taxi slowly started.
Nathan Moore quickly walked to another taxi behind and instructed the driver to follow the one ahead.
Seeing the taxi Titus Zane was in stop in front of Wing Sea Hotel, Titus Zane got out of the taxi and entered the hotel; only then did Nathan Moore instruct his driver to leave.
Nathan Moore’s palm was inflamed because he hadn’t disinfected and bandaged it in time. He even took a bath after getting home, not noticing the glass shards in his palm.
Evander Lancaster, while removing glass shards with tweezers, joked insincerely, "Second bro, how did this happen? Don’t tell me you got so mad seeing the woman you fancy taken away by another man that you crushed a wine glass."
"What’s with all the nonsense!"
Nathan Moore coldly stated, just like his handsome face, feeling uncomfortable being seen through.
"What? Did I accidentally hit a nerve?"
Evander Lancaster, surprised, raised his eyebrows, his face not resembling that of a competent doctor in his playfulness.
"Company finances are tight this month, we’ll settle medical fees with the employees next month."
Nathan Moore spat out the sentence emotionlessly.
Evander Lancaster howled, but his face didn’t show pity; in fact, there was a clear schadenfreude.
"Our hospital relies entirely on financial powerhouses like you providing jobs, if you don’t pay, what will I use to pay the hospital staff?"
"That’s your problem." Nathan Moore responded coldly, unyielding.
With the glass shards in Nathan Moore’s palm cleaned up, Evander Lancaster used alcohol wipes for disinfection, his phoenix eyes containing mischievous laughter.
"Second bro, tell your brother honestly, is it because you saw Titus Zane walk away with someone else that you harmed yourself in frustration?"
"Medical fees will be settled half a year later!"
"No, second bro, we’re brothers, don’t take it to heart. Business is business, private is private, we separate them clearly. I’m just worried for you. After finishing the bandage, Evander Lancaster regained his seriousness, neatly placing the instruments back on the tray. Evander Lancaster, oblivious, took another puff and then sighed after exhaling, "Sending Olivia Zane back to her parent’s place, isn’t it just to wait for your sister-in-law to return to the country to bring her back?"
Nathan Moore’s dark eyes narrowed, and his handsome face darkened.
