Colt Thornton stood naked in front of the bed, his back view lacking any aesthetic of a strong man.

Titus Zane didn’t know how she left the room, wrapped in a haze of clothing, then suddenly feeling weightless, lifted into the air. When she numbly turned her head, she saw the man’s tense handsome face and muttered, "Nathan Moore?"
Titus Zane’s face bore visible finger marks, and there was a clear lash mark, one corner of her eye showed bruising...
