Titus Zane suddenly opened his eyes wide, looking up at Nathan Moore, "Do you think, if we have a baby, grandfather wouldn’t oppose us anymore?"
Nathan Moore took another drag of his cigarette, glancing at the woman nestled in his arm, and as he exhaled, he said, "Maybe,"
Titus Zane heard a sigh, and in the opposing gaze, Nathan Moore’s eyes became serious, "But I’d rather he accept me from the bottom of his heart, not because we have a baby."
Their gaze locked tightly on each other; both of them were clearly aware that the biggest reason for the grandfather’s opposition was not only the pain Nathan Moore had caused her before but also because of their special relationship.

Puffing her cheeks, Titus Zane turned and draped her arms around Nathan Moore’s neck, burying her face in his neck, acting coquettishly.
"I don’t care, whether grandfather opposes or not I want to be with you. I am already at that age, I want to have a baby..."
Having just experienced an emotional moment, undressed, the friction of their bodies rekindled the yet-to-fade passion. Throwing the cigarette in between his fingers into the ashtray, he flipped her over, pressing the enchanting temptress beneath him, and as his thin lips landed, a battle reignited...
Alder Locke sat with two shopping bags in the seating area, and it had been over ten minutes without a trace of Titus Zane.
The corners of his lips involuntarily curved upwards; he should have guessed, her initiative must have had an ulterior motive.
Knowing full well that even if he called her, she wouldn’t return immediately, he stood up and headed towards the escalator.
Above the Department Store was a café where he decided to wait.
He couldn’t go back first, as that would be equivalent to telling Grandpa Zane she ditched him halfway through.
Given Grandpa Zane’s temper, it would definitely lead to anger... she would think that it was him who had reported... it was a critical moment, he needed to leave a good impression on her, to prevent her from disliking him.
Since he couldn’t make her come back immediately, why not do her a favor and wait at the café, waiting for her to finish her business before heading back together.
He ordered a cup of coffee, and then Alder Locke composed a text message.
...I’m waiting for you at the café above the Department Store, find me here after you’ve finished your business...
Just as he was about to send it, he frowned and thought for a moment, then added one more line:
Going back together, Grandpa Zane wouldn’t be suspicious...
After sending the message, Alder Locke scoffed coldly, lamenting how a man once so noble had now condescended for a woman.
Tossing his phone on the table, Alder Locke rested his arms on the chair’s backrest, helpless because he had fallen for this woman at first sight.
Titus Zane saw the message hours later, after a brief meetup where physical interactions overshadowed conversation. Nathan Moore told her he would stay permanently in Capital City and would visit again to earn her grandfather’s acceptance until he no longer opposed them.
Before parting, the two shared lingering passionate kisses, and Titus Zane left reluctantly.
Following Alder Locke’s instructions, Titus Zane took a cab back to the Department Store and met up with him at the café upstairs.
Alder Locke sat in a spot facing the café’s entrance, and from afar, he saw that woman approaching with a radiant expression, casually sipping from his coffee cup while his dark eyes slowly narrowed.
He was no naive youth; he knew what the flush on that woman’s cheeks signified.
Unconsciously, bite marks appeared on the sides of his handsome face. So, she had sneaked off to meet that man. It seemed necessary to remind Grandpa Zane about this.
